Sesko has scored nine times during his debut season in the Premier League following his big-money move from RB Leipzig in the summer. Seven of those have come since the turn of the year, with the Slovenian having made an impressive impact since Ruben Amorim's departure as Man United boss in January. Sesko's Premier League games have been split equally, making 13 starts and the same number of appearances from the bench. The 22-year-old has proved effective as a substitute for interim boss Michael Carrick, scoring four crucial goals to boost their pursuit of Champions League football. Sesko has scored winners against Fulham and Everton, a last-minute equaliser against West Ham and a clinching third goal against Aston Villa after coming off the bench. Benjamin Sesko's agent has pushed back against his client being labelled a 'super sub' Sesko has made an impressive impact off the bench, scoring four times for Michael Carrick's side as a substitute His impact has led to Sesko being dubbed a 'super sub', a label his agent Elvis Basanovic is keen to push back against. 'If you ask me about this name, I don't like it. I like "super striker" much more, ' Basanovic told Arena Sport. 'I think Benjamin is a super striker.   'He has started 13 games this year, coming off the bench in 13 games.  He scored half of his goals when he started the game and half when he came off the bench.   'We can see that he is a complete striker and Benjamin is someone who deserves the name "super striker". ' There have been calls for Sesko to start more matches given his recent form, with the forward named in the starting line-up just twice under Carrick. Sesko scored when handed a start in their 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on March 1, but drew a blank during Man United's 2-1 loss at Newcastle three days later. In February, Sesko had stressed he was determined to deliver for Man United regardless of his role.  Sesko's goals have earned Man United crucial points in the race for Champions League football 'I'm getting settled in the league from game to game, ' Sesko said. 'Again, I'm not even thinking about "I have to start, I have to start". 'For me it's just whenever coach decides to put me there one time or not I'm just going to be there. 'If I get the next minutes, five minutes, I'm going to use them and for me it's just about trying to enjoy and delivering for the team. ' Man United revealed on Monday that Sesko has been managing an injury in recent weeks, with the club stating he had pulled out of the Slovenia squad to 'ensure that he fully recovers'. Carrick's side head into the international break in third place in the Premier League, six points clear of fifth-placed Liverpool in the race for Champions League qualification.
