The Reds must overturn a two-goal deficit against the European champions and Slot has made several big selection calls. One of those sees Mohamed Salah only make the bench and Rio Ngumoha, the 17-year-old who scored on Saturday and generated a clamour for him to start, is also a substitute. Hugo Ekitike comes back in after skipping the win over Fulham but the headline news is the return of Isak, who played two cameos off the bench in the last week. The Sweden striker missed three and a half months with a fractured fibula but has been working hard at the AXA Training Centre to build fitness. On Monday Slot insisted his players are ready to launch a famous comeback after last week's 2-0 defeat in Paris.   Alexander Isak in training on Monday ahead of the crucial clash with PSG ‘Yes there is a belief we can do special things, ’ said the Liverpool boss. ‘But we have to be very, very, very special to achieve that as we are playing against the champions of Europe. That makes the task more complicated but not impossible. ’ And captain Virgil van Dijk called on the supporters to raise the roof, saying: ‘They (the fans) will probably be the most important factor, together with our performance. ‘I've been very lucky to experience those nights where the connection between the fans and the performance has been unbelievable. ‘We need something very special to happen otherwise we will have no chance. If we play like we did in Paris then we will have no chance anyway in my opinion. ‘There is an opportunity to come up with a good game plan and fight for it for 90 plus minutes. I am really looking forward to it. It's a privilege to be in the quarter-finals regardless. We shouldn't take that for granted. ‘We have to remember we are Liverpool. We have to make it a memorable night. ’ Liverpool team to face PSG (4-2-2-2): Mamardashvili; Frimpong, Konate, Van Dijk, Kerkez; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Szoboszlai, Wirtz; Isak, Ekitike.
