The German club have been pursuing a move for Diaz but a reported offer of €52million (£44. 9million) wasn't deemed sufficient by the Reds. As a result Bayern sporting director Max Eberl may need to switch his focus elsewhere as the club look to bring in a new winger. Vincent Kompany's team have lost several attackers, with Thomas Muller leaving the club, while Mathys Tel has joined Tottenham permanently and Leroy Sane is now at Galatasaray. It has now emerged that an Arsenal player could be a key target for Bayern. Bayern won the Bundesliga title last season but were knocked out in the quarter-finals of both the Champions League and the Club World Cup. Vincent Kompany's Bayern Munich are reportedly considering a move for an Arsenal star Bayern have so far been unsuccessful with their attempt to sign Luis Diaz from Liverpool As reported by BILD, Bayern are interested in a potential move for Arsenal's Leandro Trossard. The winger has less than a year remaining on his contract with the Gunners and while Arsenal want to extend his deal Trossard is said to be hesitant to do so. Trossard, 30, faces competition from Gabriel Martinelli for a starting berth on the left wing, while Arsenal are also set to secure the signing of Noni Madueke from Chelsea. Real Madrid star Rodrygo has also been linked with a switch to Emirates Stadium. Belgium international Trossard will be eager to ensure that he plays regularly next season. Having started out at Genk, Trossard joined Brighton in 2019 and then signed for Arsenal in January 2023. Trossard has made 124 appearances for Arsenal and has scored 28 goals, while he has provided 23 assists. Liverpool are insistent that they will not sell Diaz, who has also attracted interest from Barcelona and clubs in Saudi Arabia. Arsenal star Leandro Trossard has emerged as a potential target for Bayern this summer Diaz recently said: 'I'm very, very happy in Liverpool. From day one, they've made me feel really welcome. 'Right now we're in contact with them because we're speaking with [other] clubs. It's normal, the market is open, and we're trying to sort out what's best for us. 'I am just waiting to see what happens. If Liverpool doesn't make a good offer, I still have two years left with them, I would be happy and content to stay there. And that's it, everything depends on them obviously, it's up to me to decide what's best for us. '
