Liverpool took another step closer wo winning the Premier League with a 2-1 win against the Hammers, which came after captain Virgil van Dijk, who has recently signed a new deal, scored an 89th minute winner. They had led in the game through Luis Diaz, but confusion between van Dijk and Andrew Robertson led to the latter scoring an own goal to square things up. Van Dijk, though, pounced to head home from a corner to give his side the win just a couple of minutes later, which helped Arne Slot's side to another win. They could wrap up their second Premier League title this weekend, too, by beating Tottenham, or if Arsenal slip up against Crystal Palace. A 1-0 win over Leicester after the West Ham game put them in touching distance. But a video has gone viral on social media, filmed during the West Ham game. It involved a statue, some sprinkling, and a death. Fans are seen encouraging a woman in a pink coat, seemingly named Jenny, to sprinkle some ashes. She then does so, at the front of Shankly's statue. The ashes can be seen blowing in the wind, but mostly landing on the flowers in front of the statue. Loud cheers can then be heard in the background, which appeared to be when van Dijk headed in the winner. Those in attendance cheered too, and began clapping. ' Van Dijk, meanwhile, has revealed that the Liverpool players may gather to watch Arsenal's game against Palace on Wednesday. The Gunners losing would hand the title to Liverpool before they take on Tottenham at the weekend. ‘We could be (gathering), ' he said. 'I expect Arsenal to win at home but if it doesn’t happen, then it would be nice for us all to be together. 'However that might look, we’ll discuss in the next couple of days. '
