By MATT BARLOW, FOOTBALL WRITER and JAMES SHARPE and TOM COLLOMOSSE, FOOTBALL REPORTER and IAN HERBERT AT TURF MOOR and GETHIN HICKS, TRAINEE REPORTER Updated: 02: 36 AEST, 21 September 2025 43 View comments Follow Daily Mail Sport's live blog for the latest score, team news, and updates from all 3pm Premier League games as Tottenham travel to Brighton, plus updates from Burnley vs Nottingham Forest, West Ham vs Crystal Palace, and Wolves vs Leeds.   Well that's that, the end of this afternoon's coverage of the 3pm kick-offs. What a couple of hours of football it was. There were goals galore, plenty of drama and some hugely significant results. Namely, those of West Ham United and Wolves. Both sides now find themselves in the relegation zone after dire starts to the season. The Hammers have just one win, Wolves have none. Burnley meanwhile showed a lot of fight to win a point against Nottingham Forest, who look a different side already under Ange Postecoglou. Spurs and Brighton both played their parts in a thrilling game at the Amex. Neither Thomas Frank nor Fabian Hurzeler settled for a point, but neither manager could find a winner. Thank you very much for sticking with us here at Daily Mail Sport this afternoon, I'll catch you soon! We're now just minutes away from kick-off at Old Trafford as United host Chelsea. Matheus Cunha's back in the squad for the hosts, who are in desperate need of a victory. If you enjoyed my blog, head over to my colleague Harry Bamforth's coverage of this evening's clash via the link below! A side in an even worse predicament than Potter's West Ham is Wolves. The Midlands club are without a solitary point so far this season and slumped to a hugely disappointing home loss to Leeds this afternoon. It was an afternoon which started with so much promise at Molineux when Ladislav Krejci fired gome on eight minutes. Leeds however pulled off an incredible comeback, finding themselves 3-1 up at the break. Wolves looked shaky and uncoordinated throughout and, in-truth, it's becoming increasingly difficult to see where their next point comes from. The loss of Matheus Cunha has certainly hit Vitor Pereira's side hard. By Ian Herbert At Turf Moor Following today's home loss to Crystal Palace, Graham Potter is thought to be on the brink of being sacked as West Ham boss, according to the BBC. It's thought that even before this afternoon's fixture, the Hammers' board had sounded out potential replacements for the under-fire Englishman. They've won just a solitary match this season and look utterly bereft of ideas. By Ian Herbert At Turf Moor Brighton winger Yankuba Minteh told Sky Sports post-match: Could today's defeat spark the end of Graham Potter's dire reign as the Hammers boss? There were cries of 'sacked in the morning' in the second half and boos as the game finished. Never a good sign for a struggling boss. West Ham have won just one of their five Premier Leagiue fixtures this season, losing the other four. They look a side out of ideas and motivation. Jarrod Bowen is near enough their only hope. The board, who were the subject of protests in east London today, certainly have a decision to make. Here are the final scores from this afternoon's four 3pm kick-offs: That's that, the points are shared. A tremendous game with both sides pushing for a winner as the match neared its close. Neither Brighton nor Spurs could however find a late goal to seal all three points. Mohammed Kudus the pick of the players for the visitors. Simons also impressive off the bench. Kudus nearly wins it for Spurs! He cuts inside and lets off an effort on his left-foot which deflects and almost bounces into the top corner. With Verbruggen scrambling, the ball sails wide of the post. Kudus has been a bright spark for Spurs all afternoon. The fourth official has indicated there'll be a minimum of five minutes of added time. Plenty of time for a winner! Brighton look most likely to find one at the minute. Thomas Frank with a final roll of the dice for Spurs. Porro and Bergvall off for Gray and Spence. It's Xavi Simons again right at the centre of the action. The former Barcelona midfielder goes down under a challenge in the box but he's looking for it. The referee waves away loud appeals for a spot-kick from the travelling support. Tottenham are level and it's nothing more than they deserve! Simons, who's make an impact since coming on, plays a ball out wide to Kudus. The left-footer whips a ball in towards Palhinha, the midfielder flicks the it on and it comes off Van Hecke and into his own goal. There are more goals in this one, I think! James Milner plays Mitoma in-behind the visitors' defence, but the Japanese winger has no one in support. He edges into the box and plays a dangerous ball across the face but there's no one to tap it home. Still 2-1. Georginio Rutter and Yankuba Minteh are off for Danny Welbeck and Diego Coppola. A good afternoon for Minteh on the right! It's Xavi Simons again for Tottenham who comes close. Kudus on the right plays a ball inside which is left by Bergvall for the Dutchman, who skews his effort into the goalkeeper's arms. Should've done better! By Ian Herbert At Turf Moor It's a nightmare for Graham Potter, who finds his side behind once again. Tyrique Mitchell with the goal for the Eagles. The left-back finds himself unmarked in the box and fires a volley into the roof of the net first-time. One hell of a finish, Areola with no chance! By Ian Herbert At Turf Moor Xavi Simons comes close for the visitors! The Dutchman picks up the ball on the left and cuts inside before unleashing a low driven shot with his right foot towards the far bottom corner. Verbruggen tips the ball around the post for a corner. Simons made a difference since his introduction. By Ian Herbert At Turf Moor James Milner is introduced for Brighton, replacing Braja Druda in midfield. The mood's changed at the London Stadium, after boos rang around the ground at the end of the first-half, the Hammers fans have now come alive. After Bowen flicked home his header, the stadium announcer bellowed: 'Guess who. .. ' He's their only hope these days! By Gethin Hicks Lewis Dunk, yep you heard that right, has just tried to chip Vicario from his own half. It's actually not a bad effort, the Spurs 'keeper must've had his heart in his mouth for a second, but the floating shot sails over the bar. Brighton struggling to get out so far. By Gethin Hicks It's been all Spurs so far in this second-half. I've just heard the commentator say Frank's side have had 83 per cent possession in the last 10 minutes. Could be just a matter of time before we see an equaliser? By Gethin Hicks Why are all-black strips just so clean? This Spurs away kit is a corker, I have to say. By Gethin Hicks They desperately needed a goal early in the second half and they've found one. Need I say who scored it? Jarrod Bowen, of course. The Hammers talesman flicks a header past Dean Henderson into the far corner. A sigh of relief from Graham Potter, no-doubt. By Gethin Hicks The second half at the Amex is underway and there's a change for the home side. Baleba's off for Diego Gomez. By Gethin Hicks West Ham are 1-0 down against Crystal Palace in what in-truth is a must-win fixture for the struggling Graham Potter at home. There's been an air of unrest around the London stadium so far today amid protests against the board. If the Hammers concede another, I dread to think what the atmosphere in east London will be like. A big half for the former Chelsea and Brighton boss incoming. By Ian Herbert At Turf Moor By Gethin Hicks We're only five games into the Premier League season, but the second-half of this one feels like it could be crucial. Incredibly, after finding themselves 1-0 down early on, Leeds head into the break with a 3-1 lead. In-truth, the home side crumbled after Dominic Calvert-Lewin's equalier, his first for the Whites, and now need something quite special if they're going to pick up the three points they so desperately need. By Gethin Hicks The first half at the Amex certainly won't have disappointed the neutral. Thomas Frank on the other hand, perhaps. Brighton had the better of the opening exchanges and found themselves 2-0 up on the 30-minute mark thanks to a stunning strike from Yasin Ayari. Richarlison's late poacher's goal offers the visitors some hope heading into the second-half after what's been undoubtedly their worst performance yet under Thomas Frank. It's poised perfectly! By Ian Herbert At Turf Moor Here are your half-time scores from around the grounds. It's been goals galore so far! By Ian Herbert At Turf Moor By Gethin Hicks It's goals galore so far on this fine Saturday afternoon, and Richarlison's bagged the latest. Some intricate play from Spurs in the Brighton area ends up with Kudus, whose effort falls to the Brazilian just a couple of yards out. He can't miss, and he doesn't. It's Richarlison's first goal since the opening day of the season. By Gethin Hicks It all started so well for Wolves this afternoon but their joy was short-lived. The visitors have turned it around and are now in the lead thanks to an incredible free-kick from Anton Stache. The midfielder sends a thumping effort past Jose Sa and into the top corner. What a win this would be for Leeds if they pull it off! By Gethin Hicks Oh wow, it just goes from bad to worse for poor Graham Potter at the London Stadium. His side are behind once again amid protests against the board in east London. It's Jean-Philippe Mateta for the Eagles, who pokes the ball home from short distance after a Marc Guehi header struck the crossbar. I said it was a corker. .. and here it is. What a strike that was from the Brighton midfielder, and it looks like he knows it! By Gethin Hicks And what a goal it is! Yasin Ayari picks the ball up on the left before cutting inside and unleashing a venomous effort towards goal. The swerve does for Vicario, who gets a hand on the ball but can't stop it flying into the back of the net. Questions got to be asked of the Spurs 'keeper there. Spurs' biggest chance yet falls to Wilson Odobert on the left. The visitors' winger sweetly controls a cross, setting himself up for a volley which he skews wide. Not a bad strike, but never looked like going in! By Ian Herbert At Turf Moor By Gethin Hicks Burnley have got themselves level against Ange Postecoglou's Forest. The ball falls at Jaidon Anthony from a cross, who scruffs an effort wide but Oleksandr Zinchenko drags it into his own net. A poor goal to concede for the visitors. You can see why Manchester United were so interested in Carlos Baleba early on in this one. The Cameroonian midfielder picks the ball up on the edge of his box and powerfully drives forward looking to find Rutter in-behind. His pass is however over-cooked and gathered by Vicario. A chance missed for the home side. Yankuba Minteh against Destiny Udogie on the left looks like it could be one hell of a battle this afternoon. The Seagulls winger picks it up wide once again and drives at the Spurs left back, who slides to deny a cross coming into the box. Still 1-0 Brighton By Gethin Hicks There's nothing quite like putting one in the back of the net, is there? Just look at the smile on Neco Williams' face in rainy Burnley! By Gethin Hicks That's Yankuba Minteh's second goal in three Premier League appearances against Spurs. He'll no-doubt he hoping for another as the game presses on. Brighton growing into this one after the goal. By Gethin Hicks It's raining goals early in this weekend's 3pm kick-offs, and Brighton are the latest side to put themselves in the lead. Minteh is played through behind the Spurs defence before rounding Vicario and knocking the ball home with the outside of his left-foot. It was close to being offside, but it's given. 1-0 Brighton! By Ian Herbert At Turf Moor By Ian Herbert At Turf Moor Spurs with the best of the opening exchanges so far. Frank's side have earnt themselves a couple of corners after crosses from the left. Still level, for now. By Ian Herbert At Turf Moor By Gethin Hicks Aaand we're underway. Spurs, in their black away kit, get us going at the Amex! By Gethin Hicks Speaking to Daily Mail Sport via Kasinohai, Brian Deane said: By Gethin Hicks Thomas Frank has named his XI for this afternoon's trip to the Amex and Xavi Simons is a surprising omission. The youngster's looked promising in his first two starts for the club, but perhaps that's taken a toll on his legs. Palhinha, left on the bench against Villareal, comes back in. By Gethin Hicks There's nothing quite like a football-filled Saturday afternoon is there? A long week of work all done, a day off tomorrow and a host of games to look forward to! We've got four 3pm kicks off in-store for you this afternoon - Burnley vs Nottingham Forest, West Ham vs Crystal Palace, Wolves vs Leeds United and Brighton vs Spurs.
