By HARRY BAMFORTH, LIVE SPORTS COVERAGE REPORTER and KIERAN GILL AT TURF MOOR Updated: 00: 00 AEDT, 23 November 2025 9 View comments Follow Daily Mail Sport's live blog for the latest score, team news and updates as Burnley welcome Chelsea to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League, with Kieran Gill reporting from the grounds. This game is starting to calm down now. The counters have stopped and Chelsea are just stroking the ball about the park like this is a charity match. I mean, it's something they need to do given how open they have been so far. Oh hello. .. . Loum Tchaouna is not short of confidence, is he? The youngster has a dig first time as the ball drops to him 30 yards from goal. It's a decent hit but Robert Sanchez deals with it. 'Wheyyyyyy' That's the sound of ironic cheers from the home fans after Jamie Gittens fluffs his lines. The winger hasn't looked fantastic so far in a game where he really needs to lay down a marker for the left-wing spot. By Kieran Gill At Turf Moor OK, that's a bit better. Chelsea finally string a few good passes together and work their way up the pitch. Pedro Neto then finds himself in space on the right, cuts inside, and wins a corner. It comes to nothing, but that was more like the Blues. Chelsea just have not settled at Turf Moor. They are trying to knock the ball about to take the sting out of the game, but Burnley are all over them like a rash. The Clarets really need to take advantage now before the Blues find their groove. Another one! Chelsea are all over the place and they are really on individual pieces of defensive brilliance to stay level here. Jaidon Anthony finds space yet again and has a pop, and this one seems like it's got legs. But for the third time in these early stages, the effort is blocked. .. this time by Tosin Ararabioyo. Burnley are on top here. Another monster block! This game is not going how I expected, it's so open and both teams are abusing the counter. Burnley fly forward again and this time Jaidon Anthony has a dig inside the box following a flowing move. But Andrey Santos flies in to make a really important block. Oh, Liam, Liam, Liam. .. what are you doing? Delap throws his arms in frustration after a failed counter but he only has himself to blame. He charges at the Burnley defence with Pedro Neto on one side and Jamie Gittens on the other, he simply has to pass. But nope, he goes for goal from 30 yards out and it sails over the bar. Now that is what you call a real warning shot. Burnley look really bright and Jaidon Anthony pings over a peach of a ball to send Loum Tchaouna racing away to the right. He goes to cut inside and pull the trigger, but Trevoh Chalobah comes up trumps with a massive block to deny him. The Blues look half asleep here. By Kieran Gill At Turf Moor Oooooh, that's a decent little move from Burnley. I was about to type about how Chelsea have come out of the gates pretty quickly, and then all of a sudden, Burnley cause them some problems. Loum Tchaouna whips in a dangerous cross which is pulled back into the middle at the back post, but Reece James is there to put the block in. Robert Sanchez then has one of his brain farts and hammers a goal kick into his own player, which causes play to be stopped. Scott Parker is not happy.
