Boro came out the traps trying to hurt Blackburn, it didn't really happen. Neither team really able to take their chances, we go in level and hopefully both teams can find their shooting boots for the second half. West Brom 0-2 Bristol City Plenty for West Brom to ponder at the interval - they haven't lost in their last seven games at The Hawthorns but they're facing an uphill battle to extend that record. Anis Mehmeti and Ross Mc Crorie the players on target for the Robins. Middlesbrough 0-0 Blackburn Morgan Whittaker has come the closest in hitting the post for Middlesbrough, but don't think this is all Boro. Blackburn have competed as equals and Yuki Ohashi squandered a great chance on the break. Stoke 0-0 Preston We remain goalless at the break at the Bet365 Stadium. Little of goalmouth action to tell you about in truth, but Ashley Phillips went close before the interval, diverting Sorba Thomas' cross just wide of the Preston goal. Leicester 1-1 Watford. It is 1-1 at the break at the King Power Stadium! Jordan James gave Leicester the early lead, finding the bottom corner past Egil Selvik. The Hornets had a goal disallowed before Othmane Maamma bent in a beautiful finish with the outside of his right foot to grab them an equaliser just before the interval. Portsmouth 1-0 QPR Terry Devlin's third goal of the campaign, in the final minute of the half, ensures Portsmouth go in ahead at the break. Sheff Wed 1-1 Hull Svante Ingelsson caught Hull napping to put the bottom side ahead with a shock goal, but Mohamed Belloumi's strike has Hull on terms. The side from Humberside will want more in the second half. Coventry 1-0 Swansea The Championship is taking place and Coventry are winning. Normal service by this season's standards. Frustrated for large periods, they have found a way to lead with that late Ephron Mason-Clark strike. Oxford United 1-1 Southampton Half-time and we remain all-square at the Kassam Stadium. The U's took the lead against the run of play when Tyler Goodrham hit a terrific strike from outside the box which found itself past Gavin Bazunu. The Saints levelled six minutes later, however, when Taylor Harwood-Bellis headed home a Leo Scienza free-kick from the right. Norwich 0-0 Charlton It's been all Norwich, but they've no goals to show for it as yet. Coventry 1-0 Swansea Steve Ogrizovic Ex-Coventry City goalkeeper on BBC CWR We needed something to light this game up! What a tremendous finish from Ephron Mason-Clark, that's not easy, he spins and fires it into the roof of the net. Coventry have got themselves into the lead at just the right time. It's a really confident finish, he's facing the wrong way, he hits it with his left foot and there's no doubt about it he knows where the back of the net is. Othmane Maamma (45 mins) The Hornets level just before the break! The ball is played into the path of Othmane Maamma and, with the outside of his right foot, he audaciously finds the far corner with an impudent finish. Maamma goes over to celebrate with the travelling Watford fans in the corner of the King Power Stadium. Oxford United 1-1 Southampton Leo Scienza is played in on goal but rattles the woodwork at the near post with his left foot! Terry Devlin (45 mins) Pompey lead on the stroke of half-time! Conor Chaplin's corner is half-cleared by Amadou Mbengue and falls to Terry Devlin, who rifles through a crowd of players and into the corner. Deserved reward for the home side's performance in this first half. Ephron Mason-Clark (44 mins) Just before half-time and the leaders hit the front. The long throw proves to be decisive for Coventry as Milan van Ewijk hurls one into the box. Luke Woolfenden is up causing problems and when it drops, Ephron Mason-Clark spins on a sixpence and finds the roof of the net from about six yards. An eighth goal from Mason-Clark - a real striker's goal this, the speed with which he spun and finished. Stoke 0-0 Preston Harrison Armstrong goes down in the box before Thierry Small curls a low effort towards the corner but Stoke keeper Viktor Johannson gets down well to make a save to his left. Norwich 0-0 Charlton Can Norwich find a way in front before half-time? They've come close again, with Charlton again struggling to clear a set-piece and the ball eventually fell to Matej Jurasek, who was denied at close range by Thomas Kaminski. Middlesbrough 0-0 Blackburn Neil Maddison Former Middlesbrough midfielder on BBC Tees You look at us as a team, going forward we are a good side, but I do worry about us at times defensively. It feels far too open at times, gone are the times that we're water-tight and we don't let much past us. It's become a ding-dong battle, both teams have had chances. Oxford United 1-1 Southampton A corner is only partially dealt with by Southampton and Brian De Keersmaecker lets fly but his effort is well off target. Certainly a shoot on sight policy from Oxford, so far. Coventry 0-0 Swansea Steve Ogrizovic Ex-Coventry City goalkeeper on BBC CWR It's a great save from Vigouroux. Ellis Simms has headed it down, with power, but it's probably too close to his boots so as it bounced up it gives Vigouroux a chance to catch it, the bounce took the pace out of it. That's Coventry's best chance of the game. Last Updated 26th December 2025 at 15: 50 Please Note: All times UK. Tables are subject to change.
