The Ligue 1 club are on the hunt for a new stopper this summer with neither their No 1 or No 2 having managed to impress last season. Onana is also coming off the back difficult campaign in which he made a number of high-profile errors and United finished 15th. The Cameroonian has started 72 Premier League games for United since signing from Inter Milan in July 2023, keeping 18 clean sheets. Significant changes are expected at United this summer with manager Ruben Amorim looking to overhaul his squad following a desperately disappointing season. Onana is rumoured to have attracted interest from Saudi Arabia and now French outfit Monaco are believed to have entered the race, according to L'Equipe.
