Ankergren will now again act as an assistant to Roberts in working with Sanchez and his back-ups in Filip Jorgensen, 23, and Teddy Sharman-Lowe, 22, under Liam Rosenior. It was also at Brighton where Ankergren worked with Graham Potter after he replaced Chris Hughton as manager in 2019.
