The midfielder has been heavily linked with a switch to Anfield, while Tottenham are also interested in signing him. Palace are eager not to lose Wharton this summer, especially given that Marc Guehi and Eberechi Eze could depart before the closure of the transfer window. As reported by The Sun, Wharton is willing to stay at Palace this season, which would mean that Liverpool would be the favourites to sign him. Wharton joined Palace in February 2024 from Blackburn, who would be entitled to 15 per cent of the fee from his next move. Since signing for Palace Wharton has made 43 appearances, although he missed a significant part of last season due to groin surgery. However, his struggles with injury last season mean they haven't pursued a move for him.
