By Robert Summerscales Thanks for joining Mail Sport for what proved to be a very eventful 3pm Saturday session in the Premier League. I'm off to lie down but you can follow live coverage of Aston Villa vs Nottingham Forest by clicking below. By Robert Summerscales Wolves forward Jorgen Strand Larsen speaking to BBC Sport: Are Wolves now safe after moving 12 points clear of drop zone? By Robert Summerscales Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler speaking to Premier League Productions: By Robert Summerscales Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo speaking to the BBC By Robert Summerscales Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson speaking to Premier League Productions: By Robert Summerscales Victory for Palace! What a dramatic second half that was. Only one goal but three red cards. Dean Henderson needed to make a good save to deny Yasin Ayari in the THIRTEENTH minute of added time but Palace held on for a massive result. By Robert Summerscales Spoils shared in Stratford. Bournemouth may feel like that is two points dropped in their quest to qualify for Europe. By Robert Summerscales Wolves move 12 points clear of Ipswich and the relegation zone by coming from behind to win at Portman Road. A huge result at the bottom of the Premier League. By Robert Summerscales Palace's nine men were desperately hanging on before a rare counter-attack ended with Brighton defender Van Hecke fouling Daichi Kamada. That's his second bookable offence and it is now 9 vs 10. Furthermore, Palace have a free-kick and an opportunity to breathe. Five minutes of added time to go. By Robert Summerscales Palace are down to NINE men! Marc Guehi follows Eddie Nketiah off the field after picking up a second yellow card for a stud-up challenge that saw his right foot catch Brajan Gruda in the shorts region. Brighton will have a big numerical advantage in the TWELVE minutes of added time that have just been signalled. By Robert Summerscales Jorgen Strand Larsen has turned the game around and Wolves lead at Portman Road. The goal took an age to confirm thanks to another VAR review but the correct decision was made. That could well be the goal that ends hope of survival for Ipswich. If the score stays as it is then the Tractor Boys will be 12 points (plus goal difference) behind Wolves in 17th. Would you believe it, we've got a thriller on our hands. Evanilson levels for Bournemouth and now it's end-to-end stuff. Areola denies Semenyo at one end and Guilherme has just fired into the side-netting at the other. Some actual excitement for once. By Robert Summerscales Well, well, well. What a terrible cameo by Eddie Nketiah. He picked up his first yellow card for diving. His second comes moments later for a poor challenge on Jan Paul van Hecke. Palace down to 10 with 10 minutes to play. By Robert Summerscales Bournemouth have responded really well to falling behind and they have their reward. A second goal of the game for Evanilson as he taps home from Dean Huijsen's headed assist. By Robert Summerscales Wolves deserve their equaliser, which arrives courtesy of Pablo Sarabia. The visitors have been much the better side. As things stand, Wolves are back to being nine points above Ipswich and the drop zone. By Robert Summerscales Palace are denied a penalty kick as Nketiah is booked for diving. There was a bit of contact but Anthony Taylor deemed that the Palace striker threw himself down. Yellow card for Nketiah and not many complaints from his team-mates. Well, well! Hammers have turned it around. Bowen meets Kudus's cross and directs a header of his own into the corner. All changed when Fullkrug came on down the middle and Bowen moved out wide. By Robert Summerscales All change at Selhurst Park. Eddie Nketiah is on for Mateta. That is Palace's second sub of the game, with Ben Chilwell having replaced Tyrick Mitchell moments earlier. Brighton have also made two chances since half-time, with Simon Adingra and Joao Pedro coming on for Matt O'Riley and Kaoru Mitoma. What a header from Niclas Fullkrug. He made an impact off the bench in the defeat to Wolves and he's done the same here meeting James Ward-Prowse's corner with absolute venom to bury a header past Kepa. Brilliant old-school centre forward stuff. By Robert Summerscales Palace fans are gleefully chanting about their upcoming trip to 'Wem-ber-ley' in the FA Cup. Meanwhile, Eagles captain Marc Guehi has just been booked for a clumsy foul on Jan Paul van Hecke, who tricked him with a slick turn. Wolves have started the second half as well as they did the first. Vitor Pereira will be fuming they’ve not got a goal to show for it. Joao Gomes is pulling the strings in midfield By Robert Summerscales Palace are back in front thanks to Daniel Munoz's sixth goal of the season. It is a second assist of the game for Eze, who teed up Munoz to fire home from the edge of the box via a slight deflection. This game will NOT finish 1-1. A quiet start to the second half. Sums up the state of the action when plenty in the press box are currently crowded around a laptop watching the Grand National. There should be no surprise that the scoreline is 1-1. The last five meetings between these teams at Selhurst Park has finished by that precise outcome. Remarkable, really. A sixth in succession has never happened in English top-flight history. By Robert Summerscales The action continues. Crystal Palace vs Brighton is back underway after half-time, as are the games at Portman Road and the London Stadium. By Robert Summerscales Possession (%): Palace 46-54 Brighton Shots: Palace 4-6 Brighton On target: Palace 2-3 Brighton Fouls: Palace 5-6 Brighton Corners: Palace 1-1 Brighton Yellow cards: Palace 0-1 Brighton By Robert Summerscales As things stand, Ipswich will be just six points behind Wolves later today. Their Premier League survival dream - and Wolves' relegation nightmare - remain alive. Kudus sums up both his and West Ham's season as he bursts down the right and tries to cross it but shanks the ball straight out for a goal-kick and falls over. That is pretty much the final action of the first half. Bournemouth just about deserve their lead. By Robert Summerscales Palace looked like they might run away with it after Mateta's early strike. But after riding the storm, Brighton hit back and the game is finely poised at the break. This fixture has finished 1-1 in each of the past five seasons. Will will get a second-half goal to buck that trend? England boss Thomas Tuchel is at Selhurst Park, sitting with Ashley Cole, who's now with the Under 21s of the national team. They have plenty of England-eligible players to check on, including Seagulls scorer Welbeck. What a bizarre passage of play that was. Ipswich keeper Palmer let a Burgess backpass roll under his studs and raced back to claw the ball away with his glove as it was about to cross the line. That meant an indirect free-kick to Wolves from six yards – for handling a backpass. The entire Ipswich team stretched across the line and when the ball was touched to Emmanuel Agbadou, his shot was blocked by an onrushing Morsy who received celebratory chest pumps from team-mates. By Robert Summerscales Bournemouth take the lead. Evanilson reacts quickest as Areola spills Semenyo's shots to tap home his fifth goal in six games. But, as always, we have to go through an unnecessary tedious wait for VAR to decide that, yes, he was clearly behind the last defender all along. This is the final weekend before semi-auto offsides come in. .. thank goodness for that. All the feeling of a pre-season friendly about this. Very little happening, neither side doing much in possession. Lewis Cook tries to liven things up with a late sliding challenge through the back of Lucas Paqueta that earns him a booking. Maybe that might spark something. By Robert Summerscales Brighton are level at Selhurst Park! An excellent centre forward's goal by Danny Welbeck. He gets his body in front of Daniel Munoz and pokes home following a low cross from Yankuba Minteh. Game on! By Robert Summerscales Palace fans are fuming at referee Anthony Taylor for appearing to decide against showing a yellow card to Jan Paul van Hecke for a cynical foul on Ismaila Sarr, who was leading a promising break. However, those fans were so busy venting their anger that they did not realise Taylor did book Van Hecke eventually. That’s football. Wolves dominated the early stages, Ipswich hold on and take the lead with Liam Delap applying the sucker-punch. A lengthy VAR wait temporarily sucked the excitement out of the stadium before the green line denoting onside created a second roar. By Robert Summerscales Delap's goal was given after a long VAR check. Onside. Axel Tuanzebe's crossfield pass found the head of Dara O'Shea, who nodded the ball to Delap in the six-yard box. A neat one-touch finish and a potentially huge goal for Ipswich. By Robert Summerscales Is the Great Escape on? Liam Delap has given Ipswich fans reason to dream by scoring his 12th Premier League goal of the season. VAR are checking for a possible offside, but it looks fine to me! Wolves have already had three presentable chances and will be frustrated not to be in front. The home side will be relieved to have survived the first 15 minutes and are now threatening themselves for the first time, with Julio Enciso prominent By Robert Summerscales Better from Brighton, who could easily be level were it not for a fine double save by Dean Henderson. The Palace stopper keeps out a fierce long-range effort from Carlos Baleba, before denying Danny Welbeck from the rebound. It's been a bright start for Bournemouth and a typically anodyne one for West Ham. Evanilson nearly headed the Cherries in front after a minute from a Ouattara cross and the winger just caused problems again as his cross took a sharp deflection off Wan-Bissaka to force a save from Areola. The action is so riveting, in fact, that the topic of conversation in the press box is intrigue over Graham Potter's decision to wear a suit in the dugout. Crystal Palace are all over Brighton here. Jean-Philippe Mateta scored a super strike, but it could have been 2-0 were it not for a wonderful fingertipped save by Bart Verbruggen as Eberechi Eze broke through, turned inside then out, and struck for the far corner. Brighton haven't got going at all. By Robert Summerscales Such a good goal! The move begins with Marc Guehi dribbling out of defense boldly. Guehi then passes to Eberechi Eze, who finds Jean-Philippe Mateta on the edge of the box. Mateta controls the ball with his right foot, before picking out the top corner with his left. Lovely football from the Eagles. By Robert Summerscales The action is underway in today's 3pm kick-offs. Brighton are playing in bright yellow at Selhurst Park. Players from all teams took a knee before kick-off to show their commitment to fighting racism and all forms of discrimination. This afternoon's three games feature six clubs bunched between eighth and 18th in the Premier League table. West Ham have a chance to be the biggest movers. A win over Bournemouth would see the Hammers jump from 16th to 14th. In theory, they could even move as high as 13th today, but that would require them to win by at least a 12-goal margin! The sun is shining brightly in Suffolk but there is also a deceptively strong breeze which might not make it the easiest afternoon for goalkeepers Alex Palmer and Jose Sa. The home crowd have just been roused by a pitchside interview with heavyweight boxer Fabio Wardley, Ipswich born-and-bred who fights American Jarrell Miller at Portman Road on June 7. Brighton have not won any of their last 11 Premier League games in London. Since beating Arsenal 3-0 at the Emirates in May 2023, the Seagulls have lost six matches and drawn five in the capital. Brighton are on their worst winless league run in London since the 1930s. The first game of the day has ended level at Goodison Park. Leandro Trossard fired Mikel Arteta's side into the lead on 34 minutes after combining with Raheem Sterling and slotting low across Jordan Pickford. But the hosts hit back after the break, Ndiaye keeping his cool to convert his spot-kick after Myles Lewis-Skelly tangled with Jack Harrison inside the box. The result leaves Arsenal 11 points adrift of runaway leaders Liverpool. Lovely day at Selhurst Park for the latest edition of one of the weirder derbies in existence. I’m going for a 2-0 win for Crystal Palace over Brighton in my predictions. Marc Guehi may be closing in on his last appearance as a Palace player also as an intriguing summer awaits for him when Chelsea and others will be showing interest. Graham Potter said in the build-up that his squad are now playing for their West Ham futures with nothing else, really, to play for. And there are a LOT who need to prove they deserve to be there for the long-term. Kudus has been nowhere near the standard he set last season and starts up front for the Hammers. He needs to start taking his chances. By Robert Summerscales Wolves come into this afternoon's game in fine form, having won 1-0 against West Ham on Tuesday. That result followed a 2-1 away triumph at Southampton before the international break. Victory over Ipswich today would see Wolves record three Premier League wins in a row for the first time since December 2023. Back then they beat Chelsea 2-1, Brentford 4-1, and Everton 3-0. By Robert Summerscales Ipswich manager Kieran Mc Kenna is targeting a strong end to the season. Speaking to reporters on the eve of today's game with Wolves, he said: 'We have nine games left. We broke it down as pretty much a quarter of the season - and we want to have the best quarter of the season in terms of performances and in terms of results. We want to show growth as a team and we want to try to win as many games as we can. ' On the prospect of possibly moving within six points of Wolves by beating them, he added: 'We will be ready to go. Everyone knows it's an important game, with not too many games left. We are playing a team that is one position higher than us in the league so it's a game of significance - but every game is. We are going to give our best. It would be a fantastic game to win. ' By Robert Summerscales The previous 15 Premier League games between West Ham and Bournemouth have served up exactly 50 goals. West Ham have scored 29 of them - eight more than Bournemouth. But it is close in terms of wins. The Hammers have beaten the Cherries five times, lost four and drawn six. The reverse fixture at the Vitality Stadium earlier this season ended 1-1. However, West Ham knocked Bournemouth out of the Carabao Cup back in August after a 1-0 win at the London Stadium. Last time these two met, Ipswich scored an injury-time winner, Matheus Cunha shoved a steward and Gary O'Neil was sacked. So buckle up at Portman Road even though Cunha is missing due to a ban for a separate scuffle at Bournemouth. Wolves are unchanged for the fourth game in a row - but it's the first time Kieran Mc Kenna has named the same XI. The Tractor Boys need to win to close the gap to six points on Wolves in the battle to stay up. By Robert Summerscales Many believe the Premier League's relegation battle is already done and dusted. with, Southampton, Leicester and Ipswich all looking well on course to return to the Championship following their promotions last season. However, a win for 18th-place Ipswich today over Wolves in 17th would just about keep hope alive at Portman Road. A home victory would see Ipswich move within six points of Wolves, but a loss would open up a 12-point gap - which would be huge with only seven rounds of fixtures remaining. Subs: Turner, Ward, Nketiah, Franca, Clyne, Hughes, Esse, Chilwell, Devenny By Robert Summerscales When Brighton visited Selhurst Park last season, Fabian Hurzeler watched the action from the away end. At the time, he was still in charge of German side FC St Pauli. When asked about his derby day experience among the fans, Hurzeler told reporters on Friday: 'I know they say positive things. When it is a negative situation in a game, I also understand how the fans are thinking. 'But I think it is important to identify with the club and it is very important to understand the expectations from the fans. In the end, they pay a lot of money, they spend a lot of time supporting us and we have to make them proud. 'It is our responsibility to make them proud. Not only tomorrow but for the whole season. I think it is very important they can go out in the pub or no matter where, wearing the Seagulls colours. 'The main thing is it is not only about winning but to give them the feeling that we put the most effort we have inside of us for them on the pitch. 'That is what they want to see and that is what we have to do. With all the things we can influence, we have to go all in. ' By Robert Summerscales Crystal Palace and Brighton are meeting today for the 16th time in the Premier League. Their head-to-head record is very close. They have four wins each and have drawn the other seven games. Brighton are slightly ahead on aggregate, having scored 20 goals against Palace and conceded only 18. Palace won the reverse fixture 3-1 at the AMEX earlier this season. But the Eagles have not beaten Brighton at home since April 2018. The last five games between Palace and Brighton at Selhurst Park have ended 1-1. By Robert Summerscales Good afternoon and welcome to Mail Sport's live coverage of today's trio of 3pm kick-offs in the Premier League. Arsenal are 1-0 up at Everton at half-time in today's early game. However, we are going to focussing on the clash of fierce rivals Crystal Palace and Brighton, the crucial relegation battle between Ipswich and Wolves, and Bournemouth's trip to West Ham. Arteta Out
