Former Rangers winger Peter Lovenkrands and former Dundee United midfielder Scott Allan are the pundits joining Jonathan Sutherland. FT: Dundee 2-2 Dundee United Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin tells Premier Sports: "It's impossible for me right now to put into words what I'm feeling. How you can go from such a high to such a low. "It was one of our best performances of the season, one of the most one-sided Dundee derbies that I can remember for a long time. The result should have been 2-0 at worst. "We had three or four really good other opportunities in the game. We should have been out of sight going into added time. "It just about sums up our campaign, why we're in the bottom half of the table. I've lost count of the amount of times we've been leading games and dropped points. "There's clearly a fragility there. We've identified it. We know where the problems are. And it's my job as manager to put it right. " FT: Dundee 2-2 Dundee United Well done Dundee. Not a good performance, but the subs impacted the game big style. Kenny Ross Graham. Captain? Captain Calamity more like. Single-handedly thew the points away. Kieran Poor first half as always. .. good second half up to scoring the second goal. .. then typical. .. Goodwin out. .. and get us some defenders who can defend. Graeme FT: Dundee 2-2 Dundee United Dundee head coach Steven Pressley tells Premier Sports: "For the opening 35 minutes, we played part well. From that period until the 90th minute, we were a shadow of ourselves. "Dundee United put us under pressure and did merit the two-goal lead. The one thing I'd say about the group is, and they've demonstrated it time and again, they have a never-say-die attitude. "I'm exceptionally proud of the mindset of the players. "We started well. United were very aggressive in their pressure. "The conditions didn't make it easy to play in the manner we want to play in, but we can be better than that and we have to show more courage when the adversity comes. " FT: Dundee 2-2 Dundee United With St Mirren losing to Rangers earlier, Dundee's hard-earned point takes Steven Pressley's side 10 points clear of the Paisley outfit and Kilmarnock in the battle to avoid the relegation play-off spot. Dundee are also now unbeaten in their latest five games and are also two ahead of Aberdeen. FT: Dundee 2-2 Dundee United Despite conceding those two late goals, United stay seventh, two points ahead of their derby rivals. A point is enough to delay confirmation of Falkirk's top-six finish. However, it would need John Mc Glynn's side to lose their final three games before the split and United to win all theirs, for United to deny them. Falkirk also have a 10-goal advantage on goal difference. FT: Dundee 2-2 Dundee United Kevin Thomson Former Dundee midfielder on BBC Radio Scotland Dundee showed so much anxiety when they went behind and looked like a team who were going to lose by two or three. One of the fans near us, with five minutes to go, said this could end 2-2. I thought "he must be on the Guinness or something, he's watching a different game from me". I hope he got a couple quid on it, because it would've been a good price. FT: Dundee 2-2 Dundee United Ashley Hay scored the winner in the previous Dundee derby at Tannadice and his goal this afternoon triggered his side's stoppage-time fightback. "I enjoy big occasions and I playing in front of big crowds, " the former Brentford forward tells Premier Sports. "Anything can happen and, once you get one goal, momentum and the fans are behind you. " Ashley Hay's goal made it 2-1 for United FT: Dundee 2-2 Dundee United John Rankin Former Dundee United midfielder on BBC Sportsound I can't believe what I've just witnessed. United were dominant for 93 minutes and get a point out a game, which feels like a defeat. That sums United up - how they're in this situation, how they're in the bottom six. They switch off defensively, concede two goals and get just a point from that performance. That's why. FT: Dundee 2-2 Dundee United Dundee striker Simon Murray can't hide his delight at the fightback on his 34th birthday. "It was hard game - we didn't play at our best, " he tells Premier Sports. "That sums up what we've shown as a team lately - plenty of character. "That's what we've built here and we got what we deserved in the end. "Sometimes you have to give credit to the opposition. They stopped us playing. "Now we have to take that into another hard game next week. " FT: Dundee 2-2 Dundee United John Rankin Former Dundee United midfielder on BBC Sportsound I could not see that happening for the life of me. It's a silly foul from Ross Graham. FT: Dundee 2-2 Dundee United Kevin Thomson Former Dundee midfielder on BBC Radio Scotland I can't even speak. Ranks [John Rankin] is under the table! I never saw it coming. Fin Robertson, brilliant delivery. It's a cross right on the money. I need to put the Euromillions on, man. Two stoppage-time goals and Dundee salvage a derby point! United looked to be home and dry after an Amar Fatah penalty and a Luca Stephenson header. But Ashley Hay prodded a reply before Ross Graham's header in the final act of the game secures an unlikely draw. Ross Graham (own goal) Wow! The miracle has happened. Ross Graham has just been booked for an awful tackle and, from the free-kick, the United centre-half casually nods the ball into his own net. What a finish. Dundee 1-2 Dundee United Kevin Thomson Former Dundee midfielder on BBC Radio Scotland I thought they would need a miracle and it might just happen. Ashley Hay What were we saying? Dundee do have a goal back. Finlay Robertson's ball into the box falls to Ashley Hay and the substitute forward prods home on the goalline. Dundee 0-2 Dundee United The game is petering out for Dundee. The Tayside sun is shining on the United fans behind the visiting goal. Dundee 0-2 Dundee United As we enter five minutes of stoppage time, there is no sign of a Dundee comeback. Indeed, Zac Sapsford has a chance to extend the lead, but the striker is wild with his finish. Dundee 0-2 Dundee United United centre-half Ross Graham takes a sore one in the unmentionables but recovers quickly. Ross Graham's own goal came in the sixth minute of stoppage time At a glance Fatah tucks in penalty after Murray handball Stephenson powers in header from Ferry cross Hay scores stoppage time goal from close range before Graham own goal levels game Dundee United captain Ross Graham headed in an own goal as Dundee struck twice in stoppage time to rescue an unlikely and dramatic derby draw at Dens Park. Ashley Hay prodded in from close range on 94 minutes before Graham glanced the ball into his own net from a free-kick he had given away with a terrible challenge. The goal sparked wild celebrations from the home players and fans, and effectively ended United's slim hopes of making the Scottish Premiership's top six. United led through an Amar Fatah spot-kick and a Luca Stephenson header, with the breakthrough coming early in the second half when home captain Simon Murray was punished for handball from a pass that was heading away from the penalty area. United now sit nine points behind sixth-placed Falkirk with three games before the split, while Dundee stay two points behind their city rivals. The visitors missed a golden early chance when Iurie Iovu headed over the top from just a couple of yards. With the action thundering from end to end, Dundee came close when a Cameron Congreve cross took a deflection and goalkeeper Ashley Maynard-Brewer had to claw the ball away from under his crossbar. In response, Fatah burst into the penalty box before his shot was repelled by Jon Mc Cracken. Congreve and Tony Yogane were menacing on the wings for the hosts and the latter cut inside to thrash an effort on target, only for defender Krisztian Keresztes to get his head in the way. The impressive Fatah had three chances in quick succession, forcing two stops from Mc Cracken in between hooking an effort into the side-netting. The visiting goalkeeper then made a fabulous fingertip save to keep out a fierce, rising strike from Vicko Sevelj. Soon after Fatah had stroked in the penalty, Sevelj fired narrowly wide. The visitors were well worth a two-goal lead when Stephenson thumped in a back-post header from a sumptuous Will Ferry delivery. Johnny Russell, who last played in this fixture in December 2012, almost added a third, with Mc Cracken showing great reflexes to push away a powerful shot from the substitute. That tremendous save was to prove vital as Steven Pressley's side pulled off a remarkable escape act in the closing moments, replacement striker Hay helping the ball over the line from a corner and then on the receiving end of Graham's dangerous tackle that led to the equaliser. This was a real smash and grab job, with Dundee a distant second best for 93 of the 96 minutes. But they kept going, belief buoyed by the huge strides made in the second half of the season. Hay played a big role in the dramatic comeback, although Mc Cracken was the real hero, with several excellent stops. The keeper was even the closest Dundee player to Graham when he knocked in the own goal, perhaps spooking the centre-half with his presence in a busy penalty box. United will find the result hard to stomach as they drew for the 13th time this season - a league high. Playing in support of striker Max Watters, Fatah was a box of tricks in the first half and could have had a hat-trick before he converted the penalty. Sevelj also added dynamism in midfield after a stint in the back three. The final outcome may pile more pressure on boss Jim Goodwin but that seems harsh in isolation since this was one of United's best showings of the campaign and they really should have wrapped up the points. Dundee head coach Steven Pressley: "We played reasonably well for the first 35 minutes without being dominant or truly ourselves. Then for 55 minutes we looked a shadow of ourselves. "But we have scored so many late goals over this period and there's a great determination about this group of players. They deal well with adversity and have that never-say-die attitude. "Although there were certain aspects I wasn't overly pleased with, the one thing that can never be questioned is that will and that grit. " Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin: "The way we finished the game pretty much sums up the season for us. It's the reason why we find ourselves in the bottom half of the table. "Defensively, we've just not been good enough, all campaign. In those moments when we get put under a bit of pressure, too many times we've crumbled. "It's one of the most one-sided Dundee derbies I can remember. I probably would have been disappointed to only finish 2-0, given the opportunities that we had. "Even at 2-0 we should have enough experience and enough leadership on the park to manage the game better to see it through.
