HT: Dundee 1-1 Hibernian Tyrone Smith BBC Scotland at Dens Park A decent game, and as the scoreline suggests - a very even one too. For me, Dundee are just shading it. They are carrying a bit more attacking threat than their visitors so far. This does feel like a game where there will be more goals after the break. Simon Murray equalised for Dundee four minutes after Hibs scored Scottish League Two Scottish League One Scottish Championship HT: Hearts 1-0 Aberdeen Brian Mc Lauchlin BBC Sport Scotland at Tynecastle A high tempo first half with Hearts deservedly on top and, with Aberdeen yet to find the net this year on the road, the smart money will be on the home side extending their lead at the top. Aberdeen, however, will certainly still feel as if they can take something from this game and put a spanner in Hearts quest for the title. HT: Livingston 0-1 St Mirren Amy Canavan BBC Sport Scotland at Home of the Set Fare Arena I am stunned. I - along with many others in here - was sure Dan Nlundulu's header would be chopped off for a handball in the build-up. The boos on the half-time whistle would not have been lost on referee Don Robertson. An Ethan Brown own goal, a Dylan Tait strike and Barney Stewart's header have Falkirk firmly in control. Greg Kiltie skelped one in to give Kilmarnock a lifeline, and they have threatened in spells, but defensively they have been all over the shop. Falkirk 3-1 Kilmarnock Kilmarnock goalkeeper Kelle Roos pulls off a brilliant diving save to his right to keep out Barney Stewart's header. The Falkirk man could have had a hat-trick! Another excellent first-half display from Jens Berthel Askou's slick Motherwell side who will probably be disappointed to not be further in front. Dundee United have defended well but Vicko Sevelj's off the ball altercation with Tawanda Maswanhise, which gave the hosts a penalty, has Motherwell deservedly ahead. That penalty award will definitely be the talking point of the half. Dan Nlundulu's powerful header is the difference at the interval. Livingston had a half chance to level just before the whistle but it was well stopped by Shamal George. The visitors started brightly but Marvin Bartley's side fought their way back into the game well. Two quickfire goals at Dens, one for either side. Owen Elding put the Hibees in front after 11 minutes, nodding in from Nicky Cadden's cross. But Simon Murray hit straight back, capitalising on some slack defending from Rocky Bushiri to pull Steven Pressley's side level. Job half done for Hearts after Claudio Braga's composed opener. A big second 45 minutes for both sides on the way. Dan Nlundulu An impressive, towering header. Mikael Mandron's well-weighted cross is thumped in by Nlundulu, who rises high to meet it. There was a brief VAR check for a possible handball in the build-up but nothing doing, ultimately. Dundee 1-1 Hibernian Warren O'Hora into the book for a challenge on Tony Yogane as the Dundee forward flies up the pitch. Some appeals that the card should be another colour, but there were covering defenders. Dundee work the free-kick back to Yan Dhanda on the edge of the box, but he drills wide. Livingston 0-0 St Mirren Amy Canavan BBC Sport Scotland at Home of the Set Fare Arena This is really, really poor. Greg Kiltie Killie have a lifeline. Kiltie drives into the middle of the pitch - and has options to his right - but he drives for goal and finds the net. It's not right in the corner, so goalkeeper Scott Bain might be a bit disappointed with that one. Motherwell 1-0 Dundee United Motherwell are appealing for another penalty, Nick Walsh waves play on though. It was Sevelj on Maswanhise again, this time the defender's tackle puts the Motherwell forward on the floor. Nothing doing from the referee though. Callumn Morrison (pen) Jordan White Hearts 1-0 Aberdeen Blair Spittal plays a one-two with Pierre Landry Kabore and smashes a shot over. Good move. Aberdeen are getting a bit of a chasing. After their 2-1 win in August, Hibernian could win successive Scottish Premiership visits to Dundee for the first time since February 2019 (3 in a row). Over half of Dundee’s points in the Scottish Premiership this season have been earned since Christmas (14/27). The Dee won just three of their 18 league games this season prior to Christmas Day (D4 L11), but have since won four of their nine matches (D2 L3). After their 2-1 victory at Celtic last time out, Hibernian could win back-to-back away league outings for the first time since December 2024. Simon Murray has scored three goals in his last two Scottish Premiership appearances, more than his previous 26 beforehand (2). Since he re-joined Dundee at the start of last season, Murray’s 20 league goals are more than double any other player for the club (Lyall Cameron second with 9). Copyright © 2026 BBC.
