When asked if he was exapserated by the question, Tuchel insists he understands the discussion around Henderson's call-up before detailing what he believes the 34-year-old is bringing to the group Tuchel has reiterated his belief that sending the likes of Adam Wharton to the Under-21 European Championships will help serve their development. The England boss highlights recent triumphs of Newcastle, Crystal Palace and Tottenham as examples, suggesting their success will help build a winning menality in Three Lions stars from the clubs. Tuchel confirms Marc Guehi's absence from the England squad is due to the facial injury he sustained in the FA Cup final. When asked about Harry Maguire's absence, Tuchel jokes about Maguire's ability to play in central defence and 'as a No 9' in recent times for Man United. Tuchel then explains he believes Trevoh Chalobah is currently 'ahead' perfrmance wise over Maguire. Tuchel was asked about the absence of Crystal Palace FA Cup hero Adam Wharton from his squad. He explains that Wharton will be part of the England Under-21 set-up and hopes he will be one of the leaders for the squad at the upcoming European Championships under Lee Carsley. Tuchel confirms no managers requested not to have their players called up to the squad, particualrly ahead of the Club World Cup. Tuchel has been asked about Ben White's continued absence, despite reiterating the Arsenal defender is availble. The England boss says that White is due to become a father soon, meaning it is 'not the moment' to recall him to the set-up. Tuchel has been asked whether players featuring in the Club World Cup could leave the camp earlier. He confirms this will not happen, but says players who will feature in the tournament in the United States will have their minutes managed. Tuchel has first been asked about Ivan Toney's selection and the absence of Tottenham forward Dominic Solanke. The stage is set with Thomas Tuchel due out any moment to speak about his latest England squad. Should be an interesting listen. Some more quotes have come in from Thomas Tuchel, this time on Trevoh Chalobah's call-up to the squad. Tuchel is due to speak to the media at 11am, so he will be shortly be pressed further on his selections. I mentioned Phil Foden's comments about seeking a rest this summer, which he has duly been given by Thomas Tuchel. The same cannot be said for Chelsea players with five named in Tuchel's squad. Chalobah has been joined by his club team-mates Reece James, Levi Colwill, Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke. They will expect to be involved when Chelsea face Real Betis in the Conference League final on May 28, before joining up with England in early June. England face Andorra on June 7 and Senegal three days later. Chelsea's FIFA Club World Cup campaign then begins on June 16 and would run until July 13 if they make the final. Next season's Premier League is due to kick off just over a month later on August 16. Quite the season Trevoh Chalobah has had. The Chelsea defender was part of their 'bomb squad' at the start of the campaign, before being shipped off on loan to Crystal Palace. Chalobah returned in January after Chelsea activated an open to recall him amid an injury crisis. The 25-year-old has since become a regular part of Enzo Maresca's starting line-up in the second half of the campaign. Chalobah will be setting his sights on winning the Conference League with Chelsea, before turning his attentions to a possible England debut Some quotes have just come in from Thomas Tuchel explaining his decision to recall Ivan Toney to the England squad. Newcastle’s Tino Livramento is among those who have missed out despite being included in Tuchel’s first squad. I’m surprised by that, given how well he has played of late. But I was also surprised by his initial inclusion last year, when he wasn’t playing well! So you know the drill, Tino, allow your form to drop and you might bet back in! Some early reaction I have seen centres around the absence of West Ham's Jarrod Bowen. The West Ham star has five goals in his latest seven matches despite the Hammers ongoing struggles. Is Bowen unlucky to miss out? Who else should consider themselves unlucky to miss out? Right call from Tuchel on Foden. What we heard from the Man City player after the FA Cup final was basically a cry for help. Clubs and managers and authorities need to start listening to their players and it sounds as though this has happened on this occasion. Thomas Tuchel's latest England squad has just been announced. Ivan Toney's recall has been confirmed, while Jordan Henderson retains his place. There is also a first England call-up for Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah. Jude Bellingham is included despite an ongoing shoulder problem, while Ben White and Phil Foden are absent. England squad in full: Goalkeepers: Dean Henderson, Jordan Pickford, James Trafford. Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dan Burn, Trevoh Chalobah, Levi Colwill, Reece James, Ezri Konsa, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Kyle Walker. Midfielders: Jude Bellingham, Eberechi Eze, Conor Gallagher, Morgan Gibbs-White, Jordan Henderson, Curtis Jones, Cole Palmer, Declan Rice, Morgan Rogers Forwards: Anthony Gordon, Harry Kane, Noni Madueke, Bukayo Saka, Ivan Toney, Ollie Watkins. One name worth looking out for when Tuchel names his squad is Phil Foden. Foden revealed this week he is seeking talks with the FA and Man City to devise a period of rest this summer. He admitted to 'mental fatigue' earlier in the campaign and has revealed off-field issues have hampered his performances. Foden is also carrying ligament damage in his ankle, sustained in early April, and has only featured for 105 minutes since. 'I just need a few weeks off it without playing football and obviously I can't get it at the moment, ' he said. 'It's a difficult situation for me with the internationals right around the corner. 'It's something we have to speak with the club and national team to see maybe if it's better to rest and get my ankle fully 100 per cent to back how I want it. 'I just don't know at the moment, it's a conversation to be had and we'll see what happens. ' Man City are among the teams featuring at the expanded FIFA Club World Cup, which will is due to run from June 14 to July 13. Could Ben White's long running England exile be set to end? White, 26, has not featured for the Three Lions since leaving the Qatar camp early after a reported falling out with England assistant coach Steve Holland. Gareth Southgate later revealed that the defender had made it clear he did not want to be considered for selection under his management. In March, Tuchel revealed White has made himself available again for England, but missed out on his last squad having only just returned following a knee injury. White has featured more prominently in the final weeks of the season for Arsenal, so could have his sights set on a return. Tuchel surprised many by naming Jordan Henderson in his first England squad earlier this year. Could he be about to spring another surprise this morning. The Athletic have reported that Ivan Toney is expected to be included in Tuchel's squad. Toney has not played for England since last summer's European Championship final loss against Spain. The former Brentford forward joined Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Ahli last summer, where he has scored 29 goals in 43 appearances. Good morning and welcome to Mail Sport's live blog as England manager Thomas Tuchel names his latest squad this morning. The Three Lions boss will be naming his squad for a World Cup qualifier against Andorra on June 7. England will then face Senegal in a friendly on June 10.
