Callum Slattery take a quick corner and Elijah Just pokes in unmarked at the front post. Think Liverpool v Barcelona, Trent Alexander-Arnold to Divock Origi. What a response. Dundee 0-2 Rangers So much negativity around Dundee at the moment and the manager taking undue flak. I can see what Steven Pressley is trying to do, but even I'm not sure we have the time to achieve it in this league, it is cut-throat and so tight. Team is very slow in decision-making, almost scared to have a go at times and relying on hopeful individual moments. Steve Jesper Karlsson Bang! Karlsson gets it on the left and drives at the Motherwell defence. It's a three-on-two but he goes himself, running at a 90º angle to the goal as he cuts inside, before lasering it past the keeper. Calum Ward is unmoved in the goal, watching the ball fly by him. Dundee 0-2 Rangers Dundee goalkeeper Jon Mc Cracken needs to look lively to tip away a long-range strike from Rangers substitute Thelo Aasgaard. Dundee 0-2 Rangers Alex gets his wish. Better from Rangers, but without being disrespectful, it's Dundee they're playing. Mohamed Diomande should be taken off. He's got talent, but today he's being lazy and too casual. Alex Dundee 0-2 Rangers It's not often you see the winning team making so many changes at the halfway stage, but Rangers have brought on Youssef Chermiti, Connor Barron and Thelo Aasgaard. Resting a few legs at a busy time of the season or a new manager taking the opportunity to assess his options? Probably a bit of both. Mohamed Diomande and forwards Danilo and Bojan Miovski are off. Johnny Kenny It doesn't take long for Celtic to break through! Reo Hatate capitalises on Kilmarnock failing to clear their lines and squares it to striker Johnny Kenny, who has a tap-in. Awful defending, but Celtic don't care. Hearts 1-1 Dundee United Pierre Landry Kabore and Oisin Mc Entee have been hooked for Hearts, with Stephen Kinglsey and Michael Steinwender on. So Milne will shift back to the right wing, with Kingsley at left-back and Steinwender at right-back. Celtic 0-0 Kilmarnock Celtic striker Johnny Kenny gets the ball out of his feet and fires a shot towards the near post. It strikes the base of the upright and bounces across the face of goal and clear. Unlucky. Aberdeen 0-0 Motherwell Elliot Watt is into Steven Mc Lean's little black book for pulling back Topi Keskinen as the Fin tries to break. Once again, Motherwell have started brighter. Elijah Just has just blasted wide on the edge of the box. He should have done better. Aberdeen 0-0 Motherwell Emmanuel Gyamfi was booked in the first half and generally getting the run around. Aberdeen's German midfielder is off at the break, replaced with Gavin Molloy. Former Scotland midfielder Stuart Armstrong is also hooked at the half, with Topi Keskinen on in his place. Celtic 0-0 Kilmarnock Celtic go close early on in Glasgow as the ball rolls across the face of goal and is met by Daizen Maeda. The Japan forward's shot is well over the top though. We are back under way at Pittodrie. They are still behind at Tynecastle and Dens Park because of the Remembrance Day commemorations pre-match. HT: Aberdeen 0-0 Motherwell Tyrone Smith BBC Scotland at Pittodrie Motherwell have utterly bossed this - and should be ahead. They have taken the game by the scruff of the neck from the off, but a lack of cutting edge when it has counted is the thing that has cost them so far. However, if they carry on like this after the break, it does seem like only being a matter of time before they get the goal their play has deserved. Aberdeen have been poor, the only positive for them is the half-time scoreline. Celtic 0-0 Kilmarnock We're off at Celtic Park. .. Celtic v Kilmarnock (16: 00) Martin O'Neill was handed a reality check as his side suffered a 3-1 defeat by Midtjylland on Thursday, his first defeat since returning to Celtic as interim team boss. But they will be confident of keeping the pressure on Premiership leaders Hearts considering Kilmarnock arrive on the back of four straight defeats. Celtic have only lost once - to Braga in the Europa League last month - in nine home outings this season and have won their latest six meetings with the Ayrshire side, including 2-1 at Rugby Park in September. Indeed, Kilmarnock have only won one of their last 86 away games against Celtic in all competitions (losing 67) and they have gone 21 (17 of them defeats) since that 2-0 victory in October 2012. Luca Stephenson's goal earned Dundee United a draw against Hearts At a glance Alexandros Kyziridis strike goes in off United goalkeeper Yevhen Kucherenko But injury-hit United respond through Luca Stephenson header Visitors have three goals disallowed for offside, two in compelling second half Scottish Premiership leaders Hearts dropped points for only the third time this season as Dundee United battled back for a draw at Tynecastle. When Alexandros Kyziridis' long-range strike kissed a post and went in off United goalkeeper Yevhen Kucherenko, it felt like normal service would resume for Hearts this season, after nine wins from 11 games. However, Luca Stephenson's precise header just before half-time ended up securing a draw for an injury-hit Dundee United side. But not before a frenetic and pulsating second-half unfolded as Hearts pressed to at least keep their nine-point lead over Celtic intact. United, though, were a serious threat on the break and thought briefly they may have grabbed a crucial second goal when Amar Fatah finished Zac Sapsford's cross. But the offside flag went up against Sapsford, who made his run just too soon before bamboozling Stuart Findlay and teeing up Fatah. The Australian also had the ball in the net himself twice, once in each half, but he was clearly offside both times. Hearts got the ball forward quickly and put United under serious pressure, but a combination of good defending and a lack of composure meant they were left frustrated. Celtic, who kicked off an hour later against Kilmarnock, now have the chance to cut Hearts' lead to seven points having played one game fewer. Hearts have overpowered everyone but Motherwell at Tynecastle this season with their aggressive, all-action play which forces teams to defend their own box constantly. Derek Mc Innes' side produced it again here, ending up with 81 entries into United's final third and delivering 21 crosses. However, this time they finished with just two shots on target. Kyziridis' shot off the post lead to the opener but some of his deliveries were not finished off, and generally the final pass was not quite there. It will not concern Mc Innes much after a brilliant start, but if the title is an aspiration then any points spilled is painful. Part of Hearts' frustration was down to United's back three defending their penalty area stoutly, and despite missing key players like Craig Sibbald and Will Ferry, Jim Goodwin'd side impressed. Panutche Camara was magnificent again in a midfield two, touching the ball more times than any United player and making the most accurate passes too as he constantly got them moving up the pitch amid the heat of the battle. Like Hearts, though, the final ball or strike was an issue. Amar Fatah's skill was clear and his flighted corner for Stephenson was brilliant, but other times his end product was lacking, while Sapsford required slightly more awareness to keep himself onside for the disallowed goals despite an all-round good performance. Still, United will be satisfied with a draw after conceding the first goal for the sixth straight game. If they can get their full squad fit then they will be a threat to any side. Hearts head coach Derek Mc Innes: "We'll take the point. We had a wee bit of an off day and players are allowed that. "The decisions were right from the referee, other than the three minutes of injury time. That was madness. "If that was Celtic or Rangers at the top of the league, there would have been a lot more than three minutes I can tell you that. " Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin: "Hearts had plenty of possession but they never caused us too many problems. We defended our box brilliantly. "I can't remember my goalkeeper having too many saves to make. "It was a good game and performance and reaction from the Motherwell performance. "If you take that game in isolation our run of results have not been too bad at all. " Hearts face a trip to Pittodrie to face Aberdeen after the international break on 23 November (15: 00 GMT). Dundee United won both of their two league visits to Heart of Midlothian last season (both 1-0), just one fewer than their previous 16 top-flight away games at Hearts beforehand (W3 D5 L8). Heart of Midlothian have 29 points in their 11 league games this season (W9 D2 L0), while a victory here would make this the best start after 12 games of a Scottish top-flight season by a non-Old Firm club (Celtic/Rangers) since 2005-06, when Hearts themselves had 32 points from their opening 12. Dundee United have won just one of their last seven away league games (D3 L3), beating Dundee 2-0 in August. Lawrence Shankland is the top scorer in the Scottish Premiership this season with seven goals. He has scored in his last three league games and could become the first player to score in four in a row for Hearts since Shankland himself in February 2024. Copyright © 2025 BBC.
