The Italian star, 26, is widely regarded as one of the best shot-stoppers in world football and played a vital role in the club's Champions League success. Donnarumma produced a series of stunning performances in the knock-out stage of the competition last season, as PSG won the tournament for the first time in their history. However, the reigning French and European champions have moved to sell Donnarumma this summer after he was unable to agree a new contract with the club. His existing contract is due to expire next summer, opening up the possibility of him leaving on a free. PSG have already signalled their intention to move on from Donnarumma, with the club having signed Ligue 1's goalkeeper of the year Lucas Chevalier with a view to succeeding the Italian. According the RMC Sport, PSG's management have also taken further action to underline that his time at the club is coming at an end. This reportedly includes sidelining the goalkeeper from first team training following their return after reaching the FIFA Club World Cup final last month. The club are also claimed to have instructed Chevalier that he is PSG's new No 1 goalkeeper. Reports have touted Chelsea and Man United as the likeliest destinations for Donnarumma this summer. RMC Sport, however, reported that Donnarumma's representatives have stressed the goalkeeper remains in control of his own future. It is claimed that the Italian will not accept any move away from PSG, despite being sidelined by the club. The goalkeeper reportedly earns around £200, 000-a-week at the Ligue 1 club, while PSG are claimed to be demanding around £26million to sell the shot-stopper. Donnarumma, seen in conversation with Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca, is reportedly of interest to the Blues Donnarumma has made 161 appearances for PSG since joining the club from AC Milan back in 2021 on a free transfer. He has won four Ligue 1 titles, two French Cups, three French Super Cups and the Champions League while at the club. Donnarumma has also enjoyed success with Italy having helped his nation be crowned European champions back in 2021.
