The 23-year-old joined United from Bologna in a £36. 5million deal but has only scored three Premier League goals in 32 appearances in his maiden season.   The Dutchman enjoyed a promising start at Old Trafford, scoring the winner on his league debut against Fulham. But his form soon dipped and he was booed by his own fans during a dismal first half against Newcastle in December. His substitution was then greeted with loud cheers before he trudged straight down the tunnel.   However, his performances improved in the second half of the season, with Inter Milan taking notice.   The Champions League finalists have identified Zirkzee as a striker ready to compete with their first choice pairing Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez, according to Corriere dello Sport. The Italian side think Zirkzee could offer 'technical quality and creativity', which would suit their attacking partnership.   In January, the striker was linked with a move back to Italy with Juventus, with a swap deal for Serbian star Dusan Vlahovic suggested. Juventus's interest may have since cooled after they sacked Thiago Motta, who managed him at Bologna. They reached the final after a dramatic extra-time victory over Barcelona and are looking to become European champions for the first time since 2010.   Inter remain in the race for the Serie A title, although they sit one point behind leaders Napoli with just two games remaining.   They were dumped out of the Coppa Italia semi-finals to arch-rivals AC Milan, who also beat them in the Supercoppa Italiana final.     Meanwhile, United have been linked with Liam Delap, Matheus Cunha and Viktor Gyökeres as they target a striker as part of their summer rebuild after a hugely disappointing campaign.
