A spokesperson for the club said: "Initial X-rays on Jess' ankle were negative, and she is currently undergoing further evaluation and testing. " Reign recently announced Fishlock would retire at the end of their current campaign, which will end in November. Fishlock stepped down from international football with Wales in October 2025 and has since worked in a technical role as part of Wales boss Rhian Wilkinson's backroom staff while continuing to play for Reign.
