Walker ideally wants to remain in the Premier League and is open to the idea of a switch to Everton, although the Toffees have played down chances of a move at this stage. David Moyes is known to be looking for another full back with Ashley Young departing and Walker has been on their radar earlier this summer. The 35-year-old has hopes of making the World Cup squad next summer and wants to reach a century of England caps before calling time on his career. National outlet Tuttosport even claimed that failure 'had the face of Walker' in a brutal assessment of his career in the country. Other clubs linked with the player amid uncertainty over his Man City future include Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce.
