Walker spent the second half of last season on loan at AC Milan but the Italian giants opted against triggering their option to purchase the right back. The ex-City captain is deemed surplus to requirements at the Etihad Stadium and is likely to head out on loan again. Walker ideally wants to remain in the Premier League and is open to the idea of a switch to Everton, although the Toffees have played down chances of a move at this stage. David Moyes is known to be looking for another full back with Ashley Young departing and Walker has been on their radar earlier this summer. The 35-year-old has hopes of making the World Cup squad next summer and wants to reach a century of England caps before calling time on his career. In Milan, Walker made 11 appearances after his 15 in sky blue over the first-half of the season.   But despite a stronger start which saw Milan go unbeaten in his first three consecutive starts, the player's time in Italy quickly soured.   Walker's form dipped as the team faltered, finishing an uncharacteristically low eighth in the Italian top flight.   National outlet Tuttosport even claimed that failure 'had the face of Walker' in a brutal assessment of his career in the country.   Other clubs linked with the player amid uncertainty over his Man City future include Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce.
