The Ligue 1 champions humiliated their opponents to win 5-0 at the Allianz Arena and seal their first title. In doing so, they also secured a first ever treble in club history. Desire Doue bagged a brace, while Achraf Hakimi,  Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Senny Mayulu also added to the goalfest in Munich. And within less than an hour of the final whistle, Mbappe and Neymar broke their silence on the result, taking to social media. Mbappe wrote on Instagram: 'The big day has finally arrived. Victory and with the manner of a whole club. Congratulations, PSG. ' Neymar was more conservative with his words and simply said: 'Congratulations PSG, ' followed by five clapping emojis.   Kylian Mbappe (right) and Neymar (left) were quick to congratulate PSG on their success  The French side hammered Inter Milan 5-0 to win their first ever Champions League title Mbappe and Neymar shared some kind words towards their former club on Instagram Both players were part of what Parisians had hoped to be a golden era in the French capital, joined by Lionel Messi. But the closest they got to Champions League glory was when they suffered an agonising 1-0 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich in 2020's final - before Messi even arrived. Having arrived for a world record £200million fee from Barcelona in 2017, Neymar departed the Parc des Princes in 2023 to join Al Hilal for around £75m. While he won 13 trophies with the French heavyweights, including five league titles, Neymar's tenure at PSG was marred by injuries and unfulfilled expectations, as he never helped the club get their hands on what they really craved - a Champions League title. The Brazilian now suits up for boyhood club Santos in his home country, where his deal expires in June. On the other hand, Mbappe just enjoyed an impressive individual season at Real Madrid, having joined Los Blancos as a free agent last summer. Despite an underwhelming campaign for Madrid as a team, Mbappe still put up good numbers in his first term. In 51 games in Spain, Mbappe has scored 40 goals and registered four assists. Mbappe left PSG as their all-time top goalscorer last summer to join Real Madrid as a free agent Neymar's time at PSG ended in 2023, when he left to join Saudi club Al Hilal for around £75m Both players were part of what fans had hoped to be a golden era at PSG, joined by Lionel Messi, but were unable to win the Champions League His arrival in Paris - his home city - came after he stamped his foot down as one of the most exciting young talents in history at Monaco. The forward left the principality to join PSG for £166m, and went on to become the club's all-time top goalscorer (256). Although, like Neymar, many still scrutinise Mbappe for not being able to bring a Champions League title to the Parc des Princes. Despite their respective 'failures' at PSG, there clearly seems to be nothing but love from two of the most iconic players to wear the club's shirt.
