Le Bron James’ 11-year-old daughter joined her father on the court before the Lakers’ 129-101 win over the Golden State Warriors, making an over-the-head trick shot and throwing James a lob that he dunked with two hands. “She’s a good luck charm, ” James said. And Zhuri James showed off some fancy dribbling courtside Saturday before the pregame moment with her father. “I … miss a lot of moments spending time with my kids because of my career, ” James said. “… Over the course of my career, anytime I get moments with them, either individually, two of them, three of them all together, whatever the case may be, it’s always special for me. To have my daughter want to come on the road… it was pretty cool. It was awesome. ” Austin Reaves interrupted as James talked about the trip. “She’s going to Denver, ” Reaves said of the Lakers’ next road game, scheduled for Thursday against the Nuggets. The Lakers had good reason to be happy Saturday, blowing out the short-handed Warriors for nearly 48 straight minutes on the heels of three straight losses. “We just came in with the right mindset and understanding the assignment, we took care of business, ” James said. Saturday’s win, albeit against a Warriors team missing Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler and Kristaps Porziņģis, showed the Lakers’ ability to sustain focus and energy, important reference points as they try to rally over the final 23 games of the regular season. “It goes back to just finding that consistent level of playing the right way on both ends, doing what we’re supposed to be doing, executing at a high level, ” Lakers coach JJ Redick said. “You saw those trends, we haven’t had it for a sustained, full stretch of a game, really. It’s come in spurts in all four of our games that we played prior to this. It was definitely our most complete game post All-Star break. ” The Lakers made 19 3-pointers — four each for James and Luka Dončić — to snap the three-game losing streak that included last-second losses to Orlando and Phoenix. Dončić led the Lakers with 26 points, James scored 20 of his 22 in the first half and Reaves had 18. Luke Kennard scored 16, and Jake La Ravia had 15 off the bench. “It was just making the right play in front of us, ” Redick said. They’re trying. I know our staff, myself we’re always looking for answers and solutions and that’s what this is, we’re trying to find solutions, ” Redick said. “And …I’m confident we are gonna find that level that we want to get to. And it’s been partially just ’cause of the disruption of lineups and different factors, we just haven’t had the continuity that I thought we were gonna have coming into the year. And it’s taken longer than I thought. “But I’m confident we’re gonna get there. ” Spot the pattern.
