19/08/2024 - 10: 41 BST Jake Davies Hammarby sporting director Mikael Hjelmberg has sent out a warning about striker Jusef Erabi amid Leeds United and Norwich City being keen on him. Both Leeds and Norwich are looking to boost their options in the final third of the pitch before the transfer window closes. It has been claimed that the pair want Erabi and talks are taking place about a possible deal, with Hammarby looking for €10m. Hjelmberg though is clear that he has heard nothing from the two English sides about Erabi. “I haven’t heard a peep about it”, the Hammarby sporting director told Fotboll Sthlm. Hjelmberg also sent out a warning that if Hammarby are approached then they will be difficult to deal with as they do not want to let Erabi leave. “We have no ambition to sell any players”, he added. Whether Hammarby would sell if an offer of €10m was put on the table for the attacker is unclear, as it would be a substantial sum for a Swedish club. The club are though battling for the Swedish title and currently sit second in the table, nine points off leaders Malmo.
