The hosts threatened early on when Jerry Yates saw his volley turned behind by goalkeeper Owen Goodman, but they did take a deserved lead in the 34th minute when Jake Richards' first-time effort from 22 yards out took a slight nick to wrongfoot the Terriers stopper and fly into the net. Richards was denied a second moments later before Huddersfield went close, Ben Wiles having appeals for a penalty turned down when his shot appeared to strike Nigel Lonwijk's arm. After the break, Lamine Fanne was off target from 20 yards for Luton, but Huddersfield levelled in stunning fashion in the 64th minute when Castledine curled a brilliant 25-yard free-kick into the top corner.

However, the Hatters were back in front in the 71st minute when Lamine Fanne's effort was parried by Goodman, the midfielder's rebound beating the keeper for Yates to slide over the line. Goodman did repel Fanne's low drive moments later while, in stoppage time, Hakeem Odoffin nodded wide. The £250, 000 is up for grabs with Super 6, and as always it is completely free to play.
