He made 31 starts in the Bundesliga last season to give with eight Champions League matches as Stuttgart endured a disappointing 2024-25 by ending the campaign in ninth place and missing out on a European spot. Stiller has also earned four senior caps for Germany having played at age-group level for Die Mannschaft since coming through the ranks at Bayern. While United did fail to bring in a midfielder, they were eventually successful in their pursuit of another goalkeeper. Amorim's side agreed a deal worth £21. 7m with Royal Antwerp for 23-year-old shot-stopper Senne Lammens. Lammens has agreed a five year contract at Old Trafford and will come in with a view to solving Amorim's problem between the sticks. A club statement read: 'Manchester United is pleased to confirm that Senne Lammens has joined the club, subject to international clearance and registration.
