Bobb is understood to have damaged his hamstring ahead of last weekend’s victory at Everton. City are hopeful that the 21-year-old will return to Pep Guardiola’s squad before the end of the Premier League campaign. But it serves as another blow to Bobb, who fractured his leg in August and didn’t return until earlier this month after complications during his comeback. An ankle issue had extended time out on the sidelines just as it had appeared the Norway international was close to featuring before the FA Cup win at Leyton Orient in February. Bobb received a huge ovation on his return during a recent win over Leicester City and offered glimpses of what Guardiola had missed on the right wing when coming off the bench against Crystal Palace.
