The final leg of the UK part of Drake's Some Special Shows 4 U tour took place at the Co-op Live indoor arena in Manchester on Tuesday night. And a host of Manchester United and Manchester City stars were in attendance. Unsurprisingly the players from the two rivals clubs were enjoying the life of luxury in private boxes at the arena, which is just walking distance from City's Etihad Stadium. New United signing Bryan Mbeumo was joined by captain Bruno Fernandes as well as Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte, Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Ayden Hayden and Altay Bayindir. Saints VIP Concierge posted a series of photos of the group's evening out, writing: 'a night under the stars. A pleasure to host our members on this night @champagnepapi. '  The new top flight season begins next Friday when champions Liverpool host Bournemouth at Anfield. City will kick off their campaign at Wolves the following day before United host Arsenal in the big game of the opening weekend on Sunday. Both clubs have brought in plenty of new faces during what has been a very active transfer window.   Mbuemo joined the Red Devils from Brentford in a deal worth £71m after Matheus Cunha signed from Wolves for £62. 5m. Ruben Amorim's team are now closing in on another big money deal for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko. City got their work done early, bringing in Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Ait Nouri, Marcus Bettinelli, Rayan Cherki and Sverre Nypan. Mbuemo and Zirkzee were all smiles as they enjoyed the comforts of their luxury VIP box French defender Leny Yoro joined his united team-mates at the Co-op Live indoor arena Both clubs are looking to push on after what was a disappointing 2024-25 season. United finished 15th in what was their worst ever Premier League campaign before losing to Tottenham in the Europa League final. Pep Guardiola's City also ended theirs trophy-less and finished 14 points behind the triumphant Liverpool in the table.
