United will be based in Chicago where they will face Bournemouth on July 30 after kicking off the round-robin tournament against West Ham in New Jersey on July 26, before finishing against Everton in Atlanta on August 3. It will be the third time in a row that United have toured America after being based in San Diego and Los Angeles for the last two summers. Mail Sport exclusively revealed in January that United would headline the series and were looking at Chicago as a potential base. The official announcement was delivered live on NBC, the host broadcaster for the competition, during half-time of its live coverage of Sunday's Premier League fixture against Arsenal at Old Trafford. United's technical director Jason Wilcox said: 'The weeks leading up to a new Premier League season is always an exciting time for Manchester United players and fans alike, and we enjoy spending that period in the US, taking advantage of world-class training facilities and stadiums, and engaging with fans. 'Playing other teams from the Premier League provides the players with an opportunity to gain valuable playing time against top opposition, and for our passionate fans to see some of the most famous teams in world football playing live at three of the most iconic stadiums in North America. Playing three Premier League sides, in three iconic stadiums, will be a great advert for the quality of the league. 'United enjoy a huge following in the US and I know fans will be incredibly excited about the prospect of watching and engaging with the team when they return this summer. ' Tickets will go on pre-sale from 12PM ET/ 11AM CT/ 4PM UK on Thursday 13th March, with general sale beginning from 10AM ET/ 9 AM CT/ 2PM UK on Friday 14th March.
