After enduring a difficult time at Old Trafford, Antony has enjoyed a new lease of life following his loan move to Real Betis. Antony has caught the eye with his performances and has scored six goals in 19 appearances for Betis across all competitions as well as providing four assists. Betis are reportedly interested in another loan move for Antony, while Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid may attempt to sign him permanently, according to El Chiringuito, Although he has two years remaining on his contract at United it remains to be seen if there is any chance of Antony having a future at the club. United will be looking to recoup some of the £86million that they paid to sign Antony from Ajax in 2022. In total he scored just 12 goals in 96 games but he won the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup. Antony's performances on loan at Betis have certainly provided a reminder of the ability that he possesses. On Thursday night he scored a superb winner as Betis won 2-1 at home to Fiorentina in the first leg of their Europa Conference League semi-final. If Betis were to triumph in that competition then it would be a superb way for Antony to conclude what has been an excellent loan spell.
