The Champions League final is finally here as Inter Milan will take on Paris Saint-Germain in the season showpiece this evening. PSG booked themselves a place in Munich after getting the better of Arsenal across two legs in the semi-finals. The French giants dispatched Mikel Arteta's side to make it three Premier League sides eliminated from the competition. Luis Enrique's men had already sent Liverpool and Aston Villa home before the Gunners faced the same fate. Now, they look for their first-ever Champions League title against Inter Milan, who beat Barcelona in an all-time classic. Gamble Aware. org | Please gamble responsibly On record (since 2003-04), only Bayern Munich in 2012 (16) have recorded more shots in the first half of a UEFA Champions League final than Paris SG tonight (13), while their five shots on target is the joint-most, along with Liverpool in 2022 and Borussia Dortmund in 2013. Only Liverpool in 2005 have won a European Cup/Champions League final having trailed by 2+ goals at half time (3-3 draw with Milan, winning on penalties). The man who captained the Reds, scored their first goal in that comeback, and won the penalty for their equaliser, is pitchside. .. João Neves was the only player to complete 100% of his passes in the first half (42/42). Ousmane Dembélé has attempted 3 shots in this game, more than any other player. Dembele and Doue both come close to adding a third for the Ligue 1 side just before the break, which would have been game over. As it is, Inter still have a mountain to climb, having been blown away by PSG inside the first 20 minutes. Doue has been the main star, putting the opener on a plate for Hakimi to tap home before scoring a deflected second himself. PSG are 45 minutes from being crowned champions of Europe for the first time - and in their first year without Mbappe. 45' - Internazionale have not had a shot on target so far in this game. 44' - Only Reims in 1956 (3-4 loss v Real Madrid), Real Madrid in 1962 (3-5 loss v Benfica) and Milan in 2005 (3-3 draw with Liverpool, loss on penalties) have led a European Cup/Champions League final by 2+ goals and failed to go on and win the trophy 42' - Finally, some signs of life from the Italians, as Thuram fires across a teasing cross that Pacho has to be alive to clear. Meanwhile, PSG might have bigger problems, with Nuno Mendes going down twice in quick succession with an apparent rib issue. The flying full-back looks to be ok to continue for now. 39' - WHAT A CHANCE FOR THURAM! ! Again, as all of Inter's slim chances have come from, it's another corner that almost proves PSG's undoing. A deep delivery to the backpost leaves Kvaratskhelia woefully out of his depth against the height and power of Thuram. The PSG winger can do nothing but cower and hope his former Serie A rival fails to find the back of his net with a towering header. And somehow from yards out, Thuram heads wide of the back post! 37' - Dimarco is clearly feeling the ill-effects of a testing first-half as he's forced to concede a corner after tackling Dembele. A shake of the head from the Italian defender is caught on camera, as he gloomily trudges back into position for the set-piece. Thankfully for him and Inter, it comes to nothing on this occasion! 34' - It's already party time in Paris! 32' - Ruiz tries his luck from distance, but his shot is well held by Sommer. But it's so easy for PSG to work the space for one of their players to have a clear sight of goal to test the Inter goalkeeper. Sommer could do nothing about either of the two goals! 30' - CHANCE FOR ACERBI! The hero of the semi-final second-leg against Barcelona almost offers the Italians a rare sniff at goal from a set-piece. Calhanoglu delivers an inch-perfect delivery from a corner, and the veteran defender rises highest to meet it 10 yards out. However, his header soars over the crossbar - big moment! 28' - talk SPORT's Ally Mc Coist told TNT Sports: "Yes, Desire Doue gets the break with the deflection. "Federico Dimarco cannot turn his back. Yes, he's unfortunate, but if he's looking at it, he might be able to handle it a bit better. " 27' - PSG have scored 17 first-half goals in 17 games, no team has scored more in the 2024/2025 UEFA Champions League. Désiré Doué has scored his fourth goal in the 2024/2025 UEFA Champions League, netting for the first time since 9th April 2025 against Aston Villa. Ousmane Dembélé has assisted his fifth goal at the 2024 UEFA Champions League, no PSG player has more. 24' - Désiré Doué (19y 362d) is just the third teenager to score in a UEFA Champions League final after Patrick Kluivert in 1995 (for Ajax v Milan) and Carlos Alberto in 2004 (for Porto v Monaco). Doué is the sixth different player to both score and assist in a UEFA Champions League final, while at 19 years and 362 days, he’s the youngest to do so. 21' - THE TEENAGER HAS DOUBLED THEIR LEAD! !! A goal and an assist for the 19-year-old in the Champions League final. In contrast, it's a nightmare start to the match for Dimarco, who played Doue onside for Hakimi's opener. He has now majorly at fault for the Doue's strike, having failed to close the attacker down as he advanced into the box. The Italian then closed his back as Doue took his shot, and it takes a wicked deflection off the defender, which wrong-foots Sommer. 20' - PSG have a record of W8, D0, L2 when scoring the opening goal in the 2024/2025 UEFA Champions League. PSG have scored 16 first-half goals in 17 games, only Barcelona (17) have scored more in the 2024/2025 UEFA Champions League. 18' - Kvaratskhelia blazes over! Inter have offered precious little by way of a response, having fallen behind, as the PSG press continues to overwhelm their backline. Dembele wins back possession high up the pitch and finds Kvaratskhelia in a trademark 1v1 position to cut in and shoot. The Georgian duly drifts inside before opening up his body looking for that far corner curler, but he gets too much on it this time. 16' - Hakimi has scored his fourth goal in the Champions League, having found the net in the quarter-finals, last four and tonight. The 26-year-old has had a hand in nine goals in this season's UEFA Champions League (4 goals, 5 assists), no defender has had a hand in more in a single campaign in the competition. No defender has scored more UEFA Champions League goals than Hakimi this season (4 - level with teammate Nuno Mendes). PSG have scored 6 goals in the first 15 minutes of the first half, no team has more in the 2024/2025 UEFA Champions League. 12' - THE FORMER INTER DEFENDER HAUNTS HIS OLD SIDE! !! ! It's a brilliant worked goal from PSG, as Vitinha splits the Inter backline to find Doue unmarked inside the box. The teenager is being played onside by Dimarco, and he shows great composure to square the ball for Hakimi to tap home. The biggest goal in the right-back's career, but he refuses to celebrate against his old employers and holds his hands up. 11' - PSG are not letting up with their press at the moment, and the Italians are finding it difficult to break out. After a spell of Parisian possession, Doue tees up Dembele on the edge of the area who drills a tame shot straight at Sommer. 8' - The dangerous Doue wins a free-kick after taking a shove to the chest on the right-hand byline. It allows Kvaratskhelia the opportunity to whip across a teasing flashed ball that bounces dangerously in the six-yard area. The delivery misses everyone but a follow-up cross is almost met by Marquinhos, but he can't meet it with his head at full-stretch. 5' - A nervy start from both sets of players, with possession being conceded easily with no one managing to hold onto the ball. Doue shows two Inter players his speed, but is stopped in his tracks by the referee's whistle as he hands off Calhanoglu. The teenager gets it back shortly afterwards and almost sets Ruiz up with a golden chance, yet his pass is cut out. 3' - A bizarre start to proceedings from both sets of players as Martinez buries his head in his shirt before popping something in his mouth. PSG then kick-off and instantly boot the ball straight out of play from the centre-circle to give their rivals an instant throw-in. 1' - WE ARE UNDERWAY!
