The Chelsea winger, who spent last season on loan at Arsenal, is edging closer to a permanent exit from Stamford Bridge just three years after arriving in a £47. 5million deal from Manchester City. Sterling struggled for game time under Mikel Arteta and was right at the end of their rotation among forwards. He ended the season scoring just one goal in 27 appearances. Before the start of last season, Blues boss Enzo Maresca made it clear that the 30-year-old will not be included in his long-term plans. Now, Fulham have emerged as a potential suitor for the beleaguered England international, as per The Telegraph.   Marco Silva is keen to bolster his forward line, with talks also ongoing over a return for Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson.   Fulham have reportedly put Raheem Sterling on their shortlist of summer transfer targets Enzo Maresca told Sterling when he took over that he is not part of Chelsea's long-term plans Sterling spent the 2024-25 season on loan at Arsenal, where he scored one goal in 27 matches Having spent last season at the Emirates, where he made 13 starts in all competitions, Sterling is believed to favour staying in London.   A move across west London to Craven Cottage would mean minimal upheaval for a player determined to relaunch his career after a frustrating spell at Chelsea. Signed by Thomas Tuchel as a marquee addition in 2022, Sterling’s role quickly diminished amid a chaotic managerial merry-go-round at the Bridge.   His last England cap came at the 2022 World Cup, and a consistent run of strong performances could yet revive his international ambitions ahead of next year's competition. On Friday, Mail Sport reported that Sterling has been offered to Serie A giants Napoli, who are in the market for a left winger. As well as the Italian champions, Sterling is also of particular interest to German side Bayer Leverkusen. In two seasons with Chelsea, Sterling has scored 19 goals in 81 appearances in all competitions. His golden years came at the Etihad under Pep Guardiola, where he won four Premier League titles in seven seasons.
