The 22-year-old's contract does not expire until June 2028 with an option for a further year but his Old Trafford appears uncertain. Hojlund cost United £64million plus a further £8m in potential add-ons when he made the move from Atalanta back in August 2023. However, he has struggled to live up to that price-tag, managing just four goals in 32 Premier League games last season.   Speaking after playing in Denmark's 2-1 friendly victory over Northern Ireland on Saturday night, he told TV 2 Sport: 'I have a contract [until 2028], so I expect to play for Manchester United.   Rasmus Hojlund has given an update on his future amid talk of a possible summer exit 'I'm looking forward to going on a summer vacation, and then I'm fully dedicated to the project that's underway. 'I know I can't get much out of reading things. I know what the facts are, and that is that I have a contract with Manchester United.   'I expect to play there, so I'm just getting ready for some summer vacation and then hopefully a good pre-season. '  United want a new striker this window and will listen to suitable offers for Hojlund. Inter are in the process of making Cristian Chivu their new head coach after Simone Inzaghi left for Al-Hilal.   The Nerazzurri, who were thrashed 5-0 by Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final, were the leading scorers in Serie A last season but lost out on the title to Napoli by a single point.   Amorim has already taken a step towards addressing Man United's attacking problems with the signing of Brazil forward Matheus Cunha from Wolves for £62. 5m.   The club are continuing discussions with Brentford over an improved second bid in excess of £60m for Bryan Mbeumo.   Hojlund started in Denmark's 2-1 friendly win over Northern Ireland on Saturday evening  United are coming off the back of a miserable campaign in which they finished 15th in the Premier League, managing to win just 11 matches. They had the chance to end the season on a high but were beaten by Tottenham in the Europa League final.
