Many clubs across Europe have already teased their new kits for the 2025-26 season, as they often tend to in May and June, but this year fans are set to see a glimpse of the new looks earlier than usual, with the Club World Cup kicking off this weekend. While it is not yet guaranteed that all clubs will sport their fresh strips during the summer tournament, it's expected that several teams will use the competition as a unique opportunity to debut the kits, given it will drive sales ahead of the new campaign. Chelsea and Manchester City are the Premier League representatives taking part in the tournament, while Champions League winners PSG, Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich and La Liga giants Real Madrid are among those also featuring. The Blues take on Mexican outfit Leon for their first Club World Cup match on Monday, while Manchester City face Moroccan side Wydad on Wednesday. While Porto released their new but traditional strip under the tagline, 'Because classic never goes out of style, ' Benfica gave a nod to Portuguese street football culture with a black trim and rounded collar.
