The German star is set to complete his switch to Anfield for a British record fee of £116m after Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen reached an agreement last week. Wirtz is due to undergo his medical on Friday before finalising his transfer to the Premier League champions. And this is also going to be good news for his parents. According to Bild, Wirtz's mum and dad, Hans and Karin, have been working on his behalf to negotiate his move and are due to receive a hefty commission that will total around €10m (£8. 6m) across the course of his five-year contract at Liverpool. Wirtz has trusted his parents rather than an agency to get the deal over the line and they have delivered.
