The Clarets have bounced back from last season's relegation from the top flight — and the departure of Vincent Kompany to Bayern Munich — with a campaign in which they have lost just twice in the league. Burnley's victory over the Blades also secured Leeds United's return to the Premier League. But Monday's celebrations were not just limited to Turf Moor and Elland Road as Man United - a great rival of both Burnley and Leeds - also benefited amid the promotion party, according to reports. Burnley's promotion has triggered a clause in the deal which saw Hannibal Mejbri join the Clarets from Man United last summer with BBC Sport reporting that a ‘six-figure sum’ will now be added to the transfer fee. The 22-year-old was signed for an initial transfer fee of £5. 4million, potentially rising to £9. 4m with add-ons such as the promotion clause. With Burnley always one of the favourites to go up, it was a smart move from Man United which is now paying dividends. Hannibal has been one of Parker's key men this season and played the entire 90 minutes of Monday's win, even drawing the foul from Anel Ahmedhodzic that allowed Josh Brownhill to settle the game from the penalty spot. In February, he accused Preston's Milutin Osmajic of making a racist comment during the clubs' 0-0 draw in the Championship. Just two weeks after that incident, Parker decided to rest Hannibal for the FA Cup fifth-round tie against Preston explaining that he was doing it for the player's own benefit but admitted he rued the choice as Hannibal is ‘vitally important’ to what Burnley do. The Tunisian, who scored against Norwich last week to put Burnley on the brink of promotion, has 36 appearances in all competitions and earned himself a reunion with Ruben Amorim's side. And there is even a chance he could be lining up for the Red Devils next year as his transfer to Burnley included a buy-back clause in the deal. Man United are keen to bolster their ranks after a disappointing Premier League campaign which sees the club sitting in 14th place with only five matches to play. They plan to wrap up £92. 5million-worth of business for Matheus Cunha and Liam Delap as quickly as possible this summer. Man United intend to trigger the release clauses of £62. 5m for Cunha at Wolves and £30m for Delap at Ipswich to sign both players once the transfer window opens on June 1. This means if a rival make a bid for the midfielder, Old Trafford chiefs would be informed and have the opportunity to present an equal offer to Burnley and the player. The Old Trafford academy product seems to have retained the support of his former team-mates. When promotion was secured, Hannibal took to Instagram to celebrate, simply posting ‘Premier League’ alongside photos of the celebrations at Turf Moor. Man United defender Harry Maguire responded by stating ‘well done mate’ alongside two clapping emojis.
