Bodo/Glimt reached the Europa League semi-finals last year Sondre Fet's 90th-minute equaliser earned Champions League debutants Bodo/Glimt a battling point at Slavia Prague after being two goals down. Strikes in either half from defender Youssoupha Mbodji had looked to have earned the hosts victory. But Daniel Bassi sparked the comeback for the Norwegian side when he finished in the 78th minute, before fellow substitute Fet smashed in a rocket effort in off the crossbar to seal a dramatic draw. Mbodji had opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, tapping in from close range after Lukas Provod excellently rolled a cross towards the back post. The Senegalese full-back then scored in similar fashion to double their advantage in the 74th minute, meeting another Provod cross at the back post. Mbodji had an eventful night, conceding a 52nd-minute penalty for a foul on Bassi, but Bodo/Glimt's Danish forward Kasper Hogh had his effort saved by Slavia keeper Jindrich Stanek. Bassi, though, made it 2-1, just after Mbodji had been brought off, when he turned home a rebound after the home side were caught out on the break. Provod also hit the post for Slavia before Fet's fabulous volleyed finish. There were chances at both ends and the Czech side felt they should have been awarded a first-half penalty, but their appeals were rejected by the video assistant referee (VAR) as a foul had been committed before a handball in the box. They were regularly the better side in the final third, stretching Bodo/Glimt to find gaps and making the most of Provod's creativity, but were unable to turn their performance into a victory as visiting keeper Nikita Khaikin made a string of good saves. Slavia return to Champions League action when they travel to Inter Milan on Tuesday, 30 September, (20: 00 BST). Bodo/Glimt host Tottenham - who knocked out the Norwegians in the Europa League semi-finals last term - at the same time.
