In the midst of those two transfer nuggets, we brought you the news that Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite had signed a new contract that will keep him at the club for the next five years. We are going to return to that story now, while also bringing you reaction to the latest news coming out of Anfield. .. Jarell Quansah was part of the England Under-21 side that beat Germany 3-2 in the final of the recent European Championships in Slovakia. He scored three goals in 58 appearances for the senior side at Liverpool, where he came up through the ranks. The defender played 13 times in the league last season, helping Liverpool win the top-flight title, and also won the EFL Cup twice during his time at Anfield. He is yet to make his senior debut for England but has played at every level of the youth set-up, including 14 appearances for the England U21s.
