During the week, multiple reports emerged online which suggested that the USMNT international and the 'Christy' actress had been dating in recent months. Many fans questioned the validity of the reports given that both Pulisic and Sweeney are already in relationships and now the soccer player has spoken out on the matter. On his Instagram Story on Sunday, Pulisic said: 'Please stop with the made up stories about my personal life. Need to hold sources accountable it can affect people's lives'. He also commented on another social media post which reported the rumor, writing: 'Fake news guys let’s stop with the silly rumor'. Earlier this month, Sweeney was spotted cozying up to former talent manager Scooter Braun after the premiere of her new movie The Housemaid. Since then, the couple have gone Instagram official and regularly feature on eachothers' social media posts. Pulisic will want to be fully focused on soccer for the near future with the 2026 World Cup - set to be hosted across America, Canada and Mexico - on the horizon.
