Following Saturday's 2-1 defeat by Crystal Palace, the Hammers head coach heard chants of 'you're getting sacked in the morning' from his own fans. But that embarrassment pales in comparison to the deluge of viral images that have swept social media in the last few days. Supporters have been particularly fond of superimposing the 50-year-old's face onto the bodies of well-known figures. These have ranged from historical leaders to celebrities and include US president Donald Trump, Only Fools and Horses' Rodney Trotter and American actress Sydney Sweeney. In one image, Potter is joined by Hammers midfielder James Ward-Prowse as the pair trade places with the iconic Chuckle Brothers. In another, they become Barbie and Ken from the hit 2023 film. The former Southampton midfielder is spared mockery in a widely circulated clip that uses AI to replace Trump's face with Potter during an interview in which he boasts about making 'a tremendous amount of money'. The accompanying caption reads: 'Graham Potter when his payoff from David Sullivan hits his bank account. ' Club co-owner Sullivan's fiancee Ampika Pickston has also been targeted in multiple distorted images.   Perhaps the most striking of all the Potter memes has him stand in for the host of Hollywood stars who featured in Ellen De Generes' famous 2014 Oscars group selfie. The image shows Potter adopting the now iconic expressions of Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep, Kevin Spacey and even, rather unfortunately given the result, Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong'o and her brother Peter. But even that creation cannot prepare one for Potter's appearance in place of Sweeney. The 28-year-old is arguably more famous for her plunging neckline than her acting abilities and the image chosen for the mock up would be right at home in her collection.   The ridicule comes as the former Brighton boss fights to keep his job after a miserable start to the season which has seen the Hammers lose four of their first five matches. After their most recent defeat, Potter insisted he still had the support of the board but it is understood the club will feel forced to act unless he can oversee a dramatic change of results in the coming weeks. 'I have no reason to think not, ' said a dejected Potter when asked if he still had the full support of the board. 'I understand the environment, I understand the results.   'I have no complaints at all about the support that we've had, from supporters, from everyone at the club. It's a tough moment, for sure. Everyone connected to the club feels that because the situation is not what we want, the results aren't good. ' Potter has won only six of his 25 matches in charge since replacing Julen Lopetegui in January. He would become the third West Ham manager after David Moyes and Lopetegui to lose his job in the last 16 months. West Ham face difficult trips to Moyes' Everton and then Arsenal before the next international break in October.
