Kader Hancar had put the hosts in Istanbul ahead nine minutes after the restart following a first half of few chances. However two goals in the final 10 minutes, the first an own goal from Busem Seker before Murphy's dramatic winner, means that the Republic of Ireland remain three points behind group leaders Slovenia. The Slovenians will now travel to Cork for deciding game against the Republic of Ireland on Tuesday night with Carla Ward knowing that if her side are victorious and can better their head to head record, they can secure top spot. It was the perfect start to the second half for the home side who broke the deadlock just nine minutes after the restart when Ilayda Civelek charged forward and into the box and found the onrushing Hancar, who fired between the legs of Jessie Stapleton and past the diving Brosnan. Ward turned to her bench to bring on fresh legs and shuffle her attacking options and her side levelled the game with just 10 minutes to go when Busem Seker tried to deflect Megan Campbell's long throw to safety, but instead headed the ball over Selda Akgoz and into the back of her own net. The away side continued to push for a winner and their persistence paid off when Abrahamson misjudged Champions League winner Mc Cabe's cross and substitute Murphy's first-time finish flew past Akgoz. Turkey tried to quell the celebrations and came close to equalising in the final seconds but Ebru Topcu's shot from the edge of the box was inches wide of the right-hand post.
