The news comes hot on the heels of their stunning swoop for Victor Munoz, who was Newcastle-bound before Liverpool hijacked the deal at the eleventh hour. Liverpool are in the market for new attackers this summer with their talisman, Mohamed Salah, set to move on. Their willingness to pay a significant sum for the forward follows huge deals for Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike last year.
